to add to having stuff in his case what if he had letters or diary entries (letter perhaps to his mom) that document him losing his mind before ending (most likely because he either died or perhaps his mother died so he stopped sending letters)

also for the drug abuse one what if he finds like an empty container of ones he used kinda like how lenore found the empty gun in hers to show how he used those in life and how that might trigger a flashback (this one doesn’t really make sense)

no but i need to see his case so bad because we know it includes his medical bag but what else?

i do love how his case including the gloves and him wearing them out of a force of habit like how morella here

wore the necklace and said it was her lucky necklace out of habit from when she was alive

i love yapping about prospero also this doesn’t relate to anything

in both these panels i find pluto and prospero’s faces interesting because they both seemed to not mind lenore and duke tagging along with morella

especially in the panel with ada they seem to both disagree

i feel like this shows how prospero seems to be the one out of the clusterfucks who doesn’t really hate the misfits

he does tell lenore he thinks they couldve made a good duo and tells pluto he’d rather him be and ally then an enemy

like i feel like he is the most netural to the misifts (for annabel she does care for lenore but besides that she either is ehh or doesnt care about them)

I absolutely agree with you Yawn. I am dying to see the contents of his luggage. It'd be so sweet if he actually had some letters from his mother in there. He'd definitely re-read them every night before bed just to help him get through.

And journal entries wouldn't be too far fetched either imo. I see him as the kind of guy that would write a lot as an outlet for his emotions. Like, he'd write down all his fears and worries (heck, maybe even in sicillian rather than english) just so he can get them off his chest without the worry of what others may think of him. Maybe he'd burn some of the pages that'd go into too much detail after. Just to be sure. Does that make sense?

Another little hc (I have so many lmao) I have for him is that his pocket watch kinda has the same personal significance for him as Morella's necklace has for her. Maybe he got it as a heirloom from his father (who's got it from Prospero's grandfather and so on) or maybe it was a direct gift from his parents from when he was younger. I'm not sure how common it was to hold photos in pocket watches during the 1880s-1890's (my rough estimation for his time period) but I love to think he has a photo of him and his parents in there. I have so many theories about that damn watch.

And I absolutely agree that he truly is entirely, 100% neutral about the misfits. I think the closest he got to full on arguing with them was when Lenore attacked Annabel and he called her mad (projecting much, king?) And when Morella and Pluto decided to be hypocrites. And he was absolutely right to call them out on that. I am NOT counting the actual physical fight he had with Pluto in the manor because his job for that trial was to not let anyone get to the tower and that's all he did.

I genuinely believe that from the start his mentality was something along the lines of "Will sacrifice them if need be, but I have nothing personal against them". He does what he needs to in order to survive. If survival means killing all of them, then so be it. BUT. If survival means befriending them and working together than that's fine too. I love that about him. He is genuinely such an interesting character.

As you said, he wanted them as allies. He understands how valuable an alliance with them could be.

He only got snarky when Pluto threw that "friends" comment. And honestly? As much as I love Pro, that was kinda well deserved. I don't think that Prospero had any malicious intentions when "trading" Pluto away. Again, he thought about what was best for HIMSELF, and no offence but they are in a death game so that is entirely understandable. But I also cannot condemn Pluto for feeling angry with his roommate for that. Bro is genuinely purely driven by pragmatism in every situation.

And here too! He genuinely doesen't look that angry with the misfits?? Is it just me?? He's not even that bothered by their jokes? The most annoyance he showed them in that scene was when he rolled his eyes at Lenore I think? He genuinely looks a lot more annoyed with Monty and his bravado bullshit.

Bottom line is. He is great. He is the definition of morally gray and I love that about him. He WILL kill you but only if he has to. No personal feelings. Its just business.

I’m curious , maybe he’s just curious as well bc of what he wanted to ask her, but at the same time it’s odd that he would ask HER of all students if she has anything similar to the deans

I’d love the theory that the curse to Lenores family could tie to nevermore academy entirely and that’s why they (the deans) have something against Lenore’s specifically and went after her and Annabel first when they arrived

If the theory of Theo being the stag is true, then I’m willing to bet Lenore’s lineage is just passed down to the academys predecessors as well

LETS STOP HARASSMENT AGAISNT RED AND FLYNN ON THIS FANDOM.

I've been on the Nevermore fandom since 2022, practically when the comic was a few days old only.

Since then, I've been an active participant on the Discord server, and a Patreon to this day. At the begining, since we were a small group, everything was fine; a lot of positivy, nice artworks, a lot of good vibes.

But since last year, a little group with a ton of bad faith and too much free time thought that it was a nice idea to start making the creators lifes a living hell over lies, missunderstandments and just childish behaviors. This has come so far to the point that its untolerable and I'm not going to stay silent about it.

Nobody has the right to judge, mistreat, insult or invade anyones personal lives, personal believes. Nobody is allowed to twist words, intentions, or mark them as a personal attack to themselves.

Red and Flynn are two great creators, who are honest to themselves, to this fandom and to their art, and have done no harm whatsoever to anyone. They do NOT support or do any of the things that malicious people have been trying to spread, and they DO NOT deserve ANY KIND OF HARASSMENT ONLINE OR IN REAL LIFE.

Since today I'm NOT going to stay quiet over this nasty behavior, and be sure that since today I'm going to be here like Annabel Lee, girlbossing your asses back to where you guys should be, in the dumpster.

Monty wanted the theatrics, sure. He was the catalyst, he's the ultimate bloodthirsty fucker and the one to blame for the idea itself. But she could have easily strong-armed him into abandoning the plan because she's still very much viewed as the Leader™ while Monty has just made himself very unfavorable in the eyes of the rest.

Ada still sees her with stars in her eyes, she still isn't in it with Monty, and with Prospero there it would have been a simple thing to shut it all down and keep her moral high ground and conscience clean. But she doesn't! For a variety of reasons.

It would have been far too suspicious.

It would be easier to monitor Montresor, who has just expressed ill intent towards Lenore, if she's physically part of the plan™ rather than hoping he doesn't fuck off to do something about it on his own

And because getting Monty's bloodlust sated would get him in a more favorable position to exploit.

So what do we do? We put the target on his roommate's back, give Montresor a room all for himself. What a deal! Though even this much was enough to make Monty suspicious enough to try and root through Lenore's mind.

It's all for the sake of the Game™ because, as she said, everyone else is fodder. She wasn't joking >=D

Heck, she even stood watch to make sure they didn't fuck it up. Just because she didn't get cement mix underneath her nails, doesn't mean she wasn't stacking mental brick after mental brick in her mind's eye.

She herself is not trying to excuse herself, garden scene my beloved, so why are we? Just like how Ada and Will have the responsibility of going along with it on their shoulders, so does Annabel. Don't take it away from her...! She was very much a part of it!

And it was glorious.

Burning a cottage with 80% certainty of maids still sleeping inside and probably shooting someone. Putting someone behind a wall and laughing about it later.

They're unhinged, your honor, they'll cross the moral boundary for the other [and for themselves. Lenore didn't burn the cottage down just for Annabel. Annabel did not keep the Game going just for Lenore] It is what makes them great😌

They’re good! It’s very intriguing to watch Lenore and Annabel Lee’s dynamic play out and they’re fascinating individuals…but in the grand scheme of things their relationship just isn’t as interesting to me as other aspects of the webtoon

I feel like I should post more about what my head cannons for the fanfic I’m writing would be.

so imagine, Theo cut his hair short and what he didn’t know was that he looked EXACTLY like his father.

so when he got home to their apartment he wanted to surprise his sister Lenore wanted to show her “hey I don’t look homeless anymore.”

he walked to Lenore’s room (because he’s he got a two room apartment for when his sister moves in, Lenore has the bigger room) and he opened the door.

when Lenore saw him bro was expecting a “Theodore you look amazing!” Instead he got screams of horror, and then screams of rage and got pummeled by his own sister wielding a wooden cane.

Lenore then realized it was Theodore her darling brother. And screamed at him to change his hairstyle only to realize HE CANT, because he cut almost all of his beautiful locks off.

and then Lenore grabbed a razor and said “sorry brother, we have to go bald.” And that is the story about how in my fanfic timeline Theo got a buzz cut
