#its really fun being in a mixed group of cultures bc sometimes this sort of thing just straight up stops applying lol#at my last job everyone else was southeast asian or indian and one (1) other white person#and i was like “no i was fine really; my mother never hit me anywhere but the face” and people laughed and said how/where/what with their#parents would hit them. and the one white dude was looking at us like we were fucking insane. it was kind of nice to be in a crowd where#i wasn't the weird one. the one childhood convo where the reaction in this post doesn't happen#i was fucking flabberghasted that my mate who literally grew up on a military base couldn't relate. genuinely v surprised#especially because he is the person in my life that this post usually most applies to. the way i would fist fight his dad (and die lol)#idk. i do think i should be allowed to kill like. 3 of my mates' families. and give some stern words to a few others#like who the fuck puts their kids inheretence ENTIRELY in crypto and makes their disabled children pay rent. jesus christ.
