Miss Terra I’m in my early 20s and I feel like my life is already over. Idk. It’s not actually that deep but I feel like it’s taking me a long time to get to where I want my life to be. Many of my high school peers are already in proper careers and relationships and I’m still trudging my way through grad school and have only just become comfortable in my sexuality lol. Like I really just need to get through the next year or two and also Go Outside. It’s just I chose the most gruelling path by going after a career that requires postgrad qualifications. I’m also scared that I will have had put so much time and effort into this only for me to hate it

so of course when you suggest these morally corrupt things could somehow be feminist solutions you end up with the same implications. Growing gattaca kids in synthetic external wombs and casually buying a designer crispr baby by renting out impoverished women's reproductive systems the way celebrities do doesn't end the evil horror of forced births, nor does it give women any liberation from patriarchal structures, because it doesn't ever even address the patriarchy directly when offering these as hypothetical "solutions". I think that Diann Bauer was an otherwise intelligent scholar, RIP, and Katrina Burch is a much better artist than academic, I heard/saw her work at a museum festival, but the other xenofeminists aren't even academics and they're trying to use hypothetical mathematical equations and future scifi accelerationism to solve problems that are affecting REAL women TODAY.
