Genuine question rn, do you know intersex people exist? And have always existed? People who are biologically not male and not female. And shitty doctors perform surgeries on these babies to change their biology so they fit into the cishet idea of the world, and these surgeries can inflict permanent harm. And again, this is often done to literal babies.

Anyway, there are more than two sexes, gender euphoria isn't specific to trans people, and stop being an asshole to random people on the internet because they don't fit into your close-minded cishet view of the world, thanks.

since no experience is original I’m gonna guess I’m not the only one who’s mom is overweight and as a kid told me every single time I wanted something like candy or a cheeseburger or was just hungry outside of a meal time she would say that I’d get fat and then after that she’d say that I would look like her. She made it sound like looking like her was a fate worse than death. I think my mom is beautiful and a lot of people think she’s beautiful too but still whenever I get told that I look like her I worry that maybe I’m gaining weight and stuff. It sucks because I think of my mom as so much more than her weight and I am proud to resemble her side of the family because they’re all amazing people and many of them are overweight. Even though weight is something people can control despite it being harder for some than others the things that cause someone to be overweight is simply just enjoying food a bit too much to exercise it all a way like yeah it’s bad for your health but my god the fact that my mom and grandpa both have said such awful things about themselves simply because they’re overweight is depressing. It was so constantly forced into my head as a kid that I still think people are calling me fat whenever I’m told I look like them.

There's a lot sickening about the human rights violations occurring against Adriana Smith right now, but one of the ones that's really searing me is that they're gonna use her death and experimentation as a medical lesson or method of "saving babies" that they'll try not to bring up in textbooks. It's been that same pattern for the entirety of gynecology in America; Black women are used as guinea pigs to test shit in order to become "good enough" to save everyone else. Not bad enough that were 3x more likely to die in childbirth when we walk into the birthing room, not bad enough that no one takes our pain seriously at any medical stage. No, NOW I gotta worry about my family having to pay the bills to keep my dead body warm for a Black baby that, if it's born, will face a world that will treat it just as inhumanely as the Black mother it came from. Bc they're not gonna give a shit about it once it's born. CRAZY.

Anyway read Medical Apartheid by Harriet A Washington, if you need "receipts" for how Black bodies have long been abused for the "sake of medical progress".

I refuse to watch the documentary on the woman who slept with 100 men in a day because I cannot stand to watch a woman do that to herself willingly. I cannot stand to see her process what she has just done to herself.

She is a victim. A victim of a world that has told her this is empowering. A victim because how can she give consent if she is disassociating?

Anyone saying that she is entirely at fault is delusional and libfems absolutely have a hand in this because it is the whole "OF/porn is empowering!" rhetoric that got us here in the first place. I dread to think what psychological damage this will do to her.
