‘Where can I find the passage where Fantine sells her teeth in the book?’, ‘How many times did Valjean and Javert actually meet?’, ‘Why is R shorthand for Grantaire?’, ‘What does Hugo mean with [insert classical reference here]?’, ‘Who played Marius in the first US National Tour?’, ‘Who is the Cosette in this photo?’, ‘What’s Valjean’s lowest note?’, ‘Is this David Thaxton or Killian Donnelly as Enjolras in the photo?’ For anyone feeling too embarrassed to ask in person and to give the fandom a forum to exchange such information, this can be a place to submit your questions (anonymously or not) for them to be shared with the Les Mis fandom to get an answer through replies and reblogs (and if not that - knowing us - at least some discussion)!

Hi, I'm in high school and I have a reading project where I have to choose a book to read. I've was wondering if choosing Les Miserables is a good idea? It's not "too difficult" for a high school student is it? :)

I was reading a review of the Fresno production and the reviewer mentioned the turntable set was banned when licensing rights opened up for community theaters. Does anyone know the story behind that? (That seems... weird, especially as it's not even used anymore except in London.)

Hugo talks a lot about the sewer system but not about actual toilets. From my research, there probably weren't toilets in 1830s Paris, but then did they use outhouses? Chamber pots? Both?
