The fact was this, he was annoyed and that was all he could think of right now as he watched the girl. The music changing in the background which only made a new wave of movement occur on the dance floor which he would normally enjoy, but he just couldn’t right now. Especially now when she had grabbed his arm and hid behind him as if he was some form of shield, maybe he was?

“Mon dieu,” he said as he rolled his gray eyes. However he took a moment to take her in, listen carefully as her heart began to speed up with her panic. There was something wrong and it made his irritation fade away just like that. He was sure to scan their surroundings, but didn’t make any move that said he was alarmed. 

Instead he was playing it off as if he hadn’t noticed, taking his arm back from her as he smoothed out his shirt which she had wrinkled in the process of hiding. “If you were hungry you should of said so before we arrived,” he replied with a light scoff, “But let us go then, and this time don’t change your mind once we arrive.”
