You've really got to admire Daniel Molloy and his 150% divorce rate. This man wrecked not only two of his own marriages, but another couple's as well. A king, an icon. None of us should ever aspire to be like him.

I think one thing I am really noticing as a read The Vampire Lestat is how desperately Lestat wants a connection but every being he has any kind of connection with doesn’t understand him or doesn’t want same things he wants. Nicky rejects him. Armand gives him the ick. Gabrielle doesn’t understand him and wants to live a very different existence. I really feel like all of this is leading to his connection with Louis but maybe that me making everything about Loustat

Do you think it’s crazy how Armand, a guy who can’t remember his own identity due to his immense trauma, is also the guy who erased Daniel’s memories so badly that he forgot that he’s into dudes?
