After Everything

Finally, I made it. After hours of racing to Duskwood, to you, it is almost impossible to believe that I am here in this moment. My hearts races as I push past unfamiliar faces in a town I hardly know and yet is almost a second home. I can feel fatigue creeping up on me, having spent all night and day getting here, but an eerie sense of weightlessness carries me forward. I am having trouble telling if this is even real. As I get closer I can feel you. With every step, even the noises of the crowd felt brighter and happier. Your signal leads me to a path beside the festival. It is a path less travelled and normally I would reconsider taking it, but you have given me such confidence in the short time I have known you that I don't even hesitate. The path is dark but my heart skips a beat when the trees suddenly clear and there you are, standing at the top of the cliff looking down at the lake below. The lights of the festival emit a warm glow around you. I have a hundred things that I planned to say, but I can’t utter a single one. Yet you know I am there; you turn to me and smile. My heart stops in that moment and all I can muster is a small smile back. You gesture for me to join you by your side and I gladly accept the offer. As soon as I step beside you, fireworks light up the sky as if they are set off just for us.

Oh my God! This has been something. At some point I just gave up and paint whatever. I don’t even bother with the editing. So sorry for that little icon on top. I didn’t want to pay for subscription.

Anyway, a little insight to this piece. We were actually going to use my voice and @digital-corruption’s husband to voice over. But he’s not well, so we had to cancel. And it was awkward to use my own voice so… I use the conversation from ep. 8 to add a little cherry on top

we are palying the new game Everbyte is developing and are on a dead end, Almost about give up. Almost about to tell the other people that we cannot do it. Mc is heart broken. First Jake, and now they are responiseble for someones life? Again?

when they have the courage to tell the new people, that they can't do it, Not again, They get a notification, A message.
