I have numerous interests that show up intermittently on my blog. Anything and everything can show up here, as I go through phases of intense obsession over one thing or another. Currently married, with a one year old, and wondering what the hell I'm doing with my life.
two female nanday conures were observed allopreening, cuddling, and performing mating behaviors in florida, where an escaped feral population has naturalized. same-sex pairings are common in birds. it’s possible that this pairing was due to a lack of male nanday conures in the area, but same-sex pairs still occur in areas with available opposite-sex mates in many circumstances.

He's secretive and always somehow happens to be in the right place at the right time. He tends to chatter to himself in the late hours while 'double-checking' everything in the lair.
