Inactivity warning;
Hello! My virtual senior year has started! Between my 4 AP classes and my college courses I’ll be a little (a lot) more inactive. It also doesn’t help that my brother has my laptop and I have a school issued one. Have patience, I have some exciting things coming!
Thank you!

Tell Your Story | J.J.
Word Count: 691
Warnings: N/A
Genre: Fluff
Summary: Jughead is dating the reader, who like him is an author. She starts to feel unoriginal in all she writes
Tumblr media
For the fourth time in the past half hour, a groan left your lips, your head falling to rest on the edge of the table. The blinking cursor on the open laptop in front of you only worked to mock your current state. The groan that spilled from your lips elicited Jughead to look up from his own laptop where he sat across the table from you.
“What’s wrong?” he asked, concern lacing his tone. You only sighed and shook your head. The explanation felt so stupid, so pointless. Yet, you couldn’t shake the feeling. It felt as if everything you wrote was cliche, predictable, or done before, and you hated it. Instead of answering honestly, all you did was shake your head, shrugging as if the motion would shake the feeling. At first, there was the consideration to not even answer at all. The thought that possibly he would just walk away, not worry about you. But there was also the knowledge that you were very wrong in that thought.
“Nothing.” The simple word wasn’t enough to get him off your case. You had hoped it was, but it really wasn’t. You sighed heavily as Jughead moved to sit beside you, his eyes flickering to your laptop screen.
“Well, if nothing is wrong, why don’t you tell me what you’re writing?”
You shook your head, instead just shutting your laptop and falling back into the chair, crossing your arms over your chest. “It wasn’t anything good.”
Jughead furrowed his brows, standing to return to his own chair across the table, leaning back in it as he raised his brows. He didn’t believe you. He didn’t believe that whatever it was you were writing was nothing good.
“Well then, let me read it so I can help you fix it.” It was a simple request really. One that was quite logical. If your mind had been in a more logical place, you might have let him; You might not have resisted. But currently, your mind was not in a logical place, so you shook your head in refusal. Despite your disapproval, he snatched your laptop from the table in front of you, opening it to the place you left off, scrolling back to the top of the document to read the work.
“It’s predictable and cliche, you’ll hate it.”
At the moment, as he read, Jughead heard your words, but he simply ignored them. He didn’t believe it truly would be. You watched as his eyes traveled over the words, taking in the writing you had been working on for the past few days. It was all there, right in front of his face for him to judge. To you, it was its own unique form of torture. As he reaches the end, he shakes his head gently.
“Predictable and cliche is the opposite of what this is,” he spoke, his voice gentle and honest. Yet, for some reason, you didn’t believe him.
“You’re just saying that because you want me to feel better.”
“I wouldn’t lie to you,” he hummed softly, turning your laptop around and placing it back in front of you. Leaning back, Jughead had a small grin across his lips.
“You promise?”
“I promise.”
After his promise, you huffed softly, still not fully believing him, though believing him a little more than you would have 10 minutes ago. Your eyes flickered from your open computer screen back up to him. A soft chuckle left your lips.
“What?”
“Nothing,” you hummed. In reality, thoughts of how lucky you were to have him were crossing your mind. Instead of voicing your thoughts, you stood, stretching your arms above your head and yawning slightly.
“What do you say we call it a night?” you hummed, lifting your closed laptop and tucking it away in its bag.
“I think that’s a great idea.”
He also stood, tucking his own laptop away before slinging the bag over his shoulder and holding his hand out to you.
“Ready to go?”
Wordlessly, you nodded, taking his hand. Hand in hand, you walked out of the building and made your way home for the night.

Stole these off someone's IG stories because this is IMPORTANT. Pay attention to what the charges actually are and not just the severity of the charge. 1st degree is not always the best go-to!

I See Stars | G. D
Word Count: 582
Warnings: N/A
Summary: An unexpected gift from Grayson. Inspired by something on Glee I jotted down a while ago.
A/N: This isnt the greatest...but it’s my first so enjoy.
Tumblr media
The obnoxiously loud buzzing of your phone became evident as the credits rolled on the screen. You just finished watching your favorite movie when the buzzing began. The name that lit up the screen was none other than your beloved boyfriend’s. Your brows furrowed.  Not because of the name, but because of the content of the message.
Grayson: Can you come over? There’s something I’ve been meaning to tell you, and I wanted to do it in person.
Quarantine had been brutal. You had opted that the best option would be to keep yourself alone for the duration of it, but you decided to make an exception. Mostly because worry and fear consumed you as to what Grayson had been wanting yo tell you. Somewhere in the back of your mind, in the logical part, you knew it couldn’t be anything bad. Yet, a part of you still wondered what it possibly could have been. Grabbing your keys, and shoes and throwing a quick ‘ok’ text you headed for the door.
After what seemed to be eons, you arrived at the Dolan house. Fearing the worst, you unlocked the door with the key you had been given a bit ago. “Grayson?” An odd silence filled the house. Even before quarantine, the house was never silent. After a moment, the loud footsteps of your lover led your eyes to where he was entering the room. The way his face lit up upon seeing you released a tension you didn’t know you had in your shoulders. His arms wrapped around your frame, pressing a kiss to the top of your head before releasing. Taking your hand, he led you towards his bedroom.
“Come here, there’s something I want to show you,” he spoke, pushing open the door. There was nothing odd or out of place in the room, it was just as it always had been . Your brows furrowed in confusion. What was happening? “Grayson what-”
“Shh, shh. Just, close your eyes,” he mused. You rolled your eyes with a gentle chuckle, but obliged. You heard movement, like the opening of a drawer, the rustle of a paper, and the closure of a drawer. Though you kept your eyes shut.
“Okay open them.” He spoke. When your eyes opened, you were greeted with him holding what seemed to be just a piece of paper. You looked to him confused, before looking closer at the paper.
“Gray, you named a star after me?” It was cute, really. Sweet even, but completely unexpected. Much like what unfolded next.
“Well, no. That was my initial thought. But I realized that there already is a star named [Y/N]. Right here on Earth,” he spoke, a hand reaching up to the back of his neck. He was a little worried you didn’t like it. The gentle smile on your lips told him otherwise.
“So what did you name it?”  “I named it Grayson, after me. So that no matter where you are, or where I am, you can look up into the night sky and know I’ll be looking down on you.” A bright smile grew across your lips. It was beautiful. Grayson was certainly the type to shower you in expensive gifts, but by far this was your favorite.
“I love it,” you spoke, affirming his hopes. Pulling him into you, you placed your lips on his, smiling into the kiss. Part of you wished you could kiss him forever. The other part knew that you would.

Avengers Preference #2: First Impressions
Tony Stark [Iron Man]: When Tony first saw you he thought you were stunning. He had to drop whatever he was doing to go talk to you, hoping his playboy charm would win you over.
Steve Rogers [Captain America]: Upon first glance, Steve was enchanted by you. He couldn't get you off his mind, no matter how hard he tried.
Bruce Banner [Hulk]: When you first met, Bruce was quite wary of you. He was unsure of your intelligence, though his worries were found to be unnecessary.
Clint Barton [Hawkeye]: Clinton thought you were quite odd when you first met. He had found you birdwatching, something he didn't see often, and he felt he had no choice but to strike up a conversation.
Thor Odison: At first, Thor didn’t believe you could possibly be a mortal. He was entranced by the way you held yourself, and your beauty.
James Buchanan Barnes [The Winter Soldier]: When he first saw you, he thought you were way out of his league. He was afraid his metal arm would scare you off if he were to talk to you.
Loki Laufeyson: The first time he saw you, Loki knew he had to make you his, and he wasn’t going to stop until that happened.
Peter Parker [Spiderman]: When Peter first met you, he was so afraid his awkwardness would be too much for you but soon discovered that you were just as awkward and found it adorable.

Avengers Preferences #1: How You Met
Tony Stark [Iron Man]: You met Tony at an upscale party. You had caught his eye from across the room and he spent most of the night trying to come up with an excuse to talk to you. When he finally walked over to talk to you, the conversation went less than the smoothness he would have hoped, but in the end, still got your number.
Steve Rogers [Captain America]: You met Steve while going on a run in the park. You momentarily were not watching where you were going and ran into someone. Both of you apologize profusely and start talking. He asks to take you out for dinner sometime, and the rest is history.
Bruce Banner [Hulk]: You met Bruce through Tony. Your family and Tony's family had always been close. On one particular day, Tony invited you over to 'help' him with a project he was working on, and when you arrived, you were confused as to why another man was also there. He introduced himself to you, and you both hit it off immediately.
Clint Barton [Hawkeye]: You met Clint while birdwatching. You were just minding your business watching birds when Clint came up and struck a conversation. Though you were slightly annoyed, you left the park that day with his number.
Thor Odison: You had been an Avenger for a few weeks when Thor first joined. Fury had given you the “assignment” of making Thor feel welcome to Earth and get used to the way things worked here. After a while of getting to know each other, you both fell. hard.
James Buchanan Barnes [The Winter Soldier] You had known Steve for a long time since he came out of the ice really. He hadn’t told you about Bucky’s return at first, but you noticed he had been hanging with you less and less. Eventually, you asked you about it and he introduced you to Bucky. He was immediately captivated by you.
Loki Laufeyson: You and Loki met through the Avengers. For a long while, you hated each other. So much so that when you’d pass by in the halls you’d drop insults at each other. The more it happened, the less insulting they were and more flirty they got. All the Avengers would get annoyed by the fact that you weren’t dating yet.
Peter Parker [Spiderman]: You met Peter in school when you were assigned to be partners for a project. He invited you over to work on the project often, and after you finished and turned in the project, he still invited you over.
