This place = chap 72 s3 and up Oddsquad = chaps beyond s2 Morecheeseinthetrap = only s4 chaps Can't assure my translations are word for word but the original meaning should be there...probably....usually right more often than not. Corrections are welcomed. If there is something on the translation you don't understand or with respect to the plot you can ask. Or if you just wanna talk that's fine too. Important: The earliest chapter I've translated is 72. To find a specific chapter look for the tag. I tag all translations the same way. Ex. chap72 s3, chap73 s3 on so forth. I literally went thru my entire archive to make sure every chapter was tagged but as a warning: I have no translated every chap.

I know you said that you don't like the current arc, but after this chapter I got a little excited. What if Jung and Inho have to work together to save Sul and Inha? They worked very well together with the underwear thief incident (Inho didn't even question Jung. He ran after the thief when Jung yelled) What are your thoughts?
hello! I havenāt had the time to properly read the latest chapter (and truth be told, youāre right Iām not excited about this development at all) but if youāre asking me what I personally thinkā¦. I think that Sul is compassionate to the point of stupidity.I donāt like Sul putting herself of danger like that for Inha, she could have done something like call for the police (or her family or Inho or Jung or even Euntaek someone, anyone ffs!) before she started running, this situation is ridiculously dangerous and she has no reason to get involved in it (besides her being meddlesome).Ā
They are definitely going to need rescue, but from Jung? not unless he shows up unannounced like he sometimes does, or if Sul called him before (not happening because Sul is Sul) and Inho? from what I understood that guy that gets hit by the boss told Sul the boss wonāt stop until he gets his money (hence Inho left without paying) so maybe the boss will abduct them to make Inho return? thatās the only way I see him coming back.Ā
Inho and Jung working together under any circumstances is not possible at this point: I think Jung completely hates Inho now and because the situation is, in essence, Inhoās fault Jung wonāt move a finger to help Inho or Inha if he shows up to help at all.. itāll be to help Sul and Sul alone. But I donāt see him helping in this one, even if Sul asked him, which is not happening as she is the one who made the situation between them what it is now (in my opinion Sul pretty much dumped him, itās just a matter of making it official)
Maybe they will get rescued by Sulās brother, dad or uncle as I think she was running towards her house and they are near her uncleās place.Ā
Also I kinda broke my computer last week so I havenāt really been able to publish anything lately, maybe Iāll post something about the latest chapters this weekend. If you havenāt noticed my motivation depends on the latest chapters and right now Iām at a solid mehh. But Iāll do my best

Did Sul just save Inha? Does Inha have a new apreciation for Sul? Maybe that (somewhat) friendship wasn't that unlikely after all? I have so many questions lol
Well, Iām still not sure they are safe but Sul was trying to get her away of the building.... even though Inha was just about ready to turn Sul over to the bastard.... but who cares!? I donāt know if Sul considers her a friend but if she does I would urge her to reconsider because Inha was quite literally about to exchange Sul with that guy (thinking that Jung would pay, because why not?)
seriously wtf is with Sulās relationship with those siblings?especially Inha. what Sul did reminds me of that time she had to go get Joon out of the business fraud he got himself involved with.
And why is the mob harassing Inha in the first place? didnāt Inho supposedly pay him back already? he went to Jungās dad for the money.Ā Either Inho payed him and the bastard is not satisfied or Inho just up and left without paying his debt, if itās the latter... way to go! good thing he changed :/
And you know whatās the best part of this all? guess whoās gonna end up cleaning the mess? thatās right, the one who is always cleaning the mess: Jung! because thereās literally nobody else that can. not Inho, not Sul and most definitely not Inha. Only someone with money and power can.
And can Soonki be nice enough to break up Sul and Jung now once and for all if sheās going to end up doing it anyway!? either that or let them be!I am so tired of these ridiculous fights where Jung isnāt honest, Sul runs away, they avoid each other for a while, something bad happens to Sul and Jung has to intervene and help her and then they both swept the fact that they were fighting and the cause of the fight under the rug!Ā I still cannot get over how ridiculous the cause of their last fight was. I can accept the break up but I canāt accept this situation.
We are 2 chapters away from hitting the 70ā²s mark.

3/3 the usage of tu/usted/vos. And some words mean something completely different from one country to another (yeah, I learned this the hard way, and my teacher didn't find my blunder funny at all). Anyways, it's a very interesting language! I'm from the UK. If I have some doubts regarding Spanish, can I ask you about it, please? [It's okay if you don't want to ;) ] Which Spanish do you speak? Castilian (Spanish in Spain), Mexican, Venezuelan, Argentinian, Cuban, etc.? Muchas gracias amigo!
Yeah the differences on the slang of each country is insane.Ā Iām from Mexico but I think that regardless of where you are from somehow you can understand all different types of Spanish. Itās just a matter of getting used to and learning the words and modisms that you are not used to. When I met someone from Venezuela I kept asking him what some of the words meant because Iāve never heard them before.
Sure go ahead and ask if you have questions I donāt mindĀ (but donāt ask me to teach you guys Korean because Iām not at the point to be teaching anybody) y de nada.

2/3 problems, or all the things she had to go through because of Yong Gon, Sang Chul, etc. Sul only started to talk about it when things got out of control. But, Bora is her friend, so is Eun Taek. I always wondered why she couldn't trust them moore. Annnd I hope that things work out in the webtoon. Lately, lots of webtoons and manga have been ruined because the authors drag them too much. Oh, BTW, I'm learning Spanish and I've noticed there are a lot of differences between countries. Like the
Sulās inability to rely on others itās her āthingā, it wasnāt until Jung started to care for her that she found someone she could rely on but she wasnāt wrong. You need someone that you can truly think of as dependable to rely on. Bora and Euntaek are great but very childish, Sul is the one they rely on and switching roles from the caretaker to being the one taken care of in not an easy task.
I have no problems in dropping something that is too far gone to be saved but not Ciit, iāll see it to the bitter end if I have to.

1/3 I feel like Jung and Sul complement each other. He is the only person whom Sul can talk about important things, like her family problems. And I feel like if Jung opens up to Sul, she will understand him, but they really need to talk, as in a sincere, honest, heartfelt talk. They have gone through a lot, they've seen the best and worst of each other, and because of that, they really know each other. BTW, I can't understand why Sul didn't really trust Bora. She didn't talk about her family
A talk, a talk my kingdom for an honest talk!! but really Iāve been begging for a serious talk since before s3 started and the closest they came to deal with their issues was during the confession in chap 72-73.

I just read the latest update of season 4 ch 65... and my heart, URGHHH, i didn't really know what they said in the beginning but at the end I used google translate cuz i realized inho is departingg. Im kinda happy to see them talk normally again, there was too much drama. He apologised too, made my heart ache when sul said "me too". What did u think?
I think Iām annoyed at how Inho meddle again where nobody asked or wanted him to. Because his wounded self wouldnāt let him be (if it had been truly out of just concern, he would have done it way before then and not right after what Inha told him and after saying he wouldnāt meddle anymore) he did wanted revenge so his apology falls flat on its face for me. He didnāt let Sul hear what Jung said just for Sulās sake as he told her, he did it in big part for self-satisfaction (hence the maniac laugh), he used her to get back at Jung and it worked. And Inho knows that too, thatās why he asked Sul before leaving ādo you hate me?ā that tells me he knows what he did was shitty.
And for some reason Sul really likes the guy to the point that sheās willing to forgive and forget what he did even if what he did very likely costed her her relationship. To be fair, Sul was always more willing to forgive Inho than Jung, (I think thatās why so many got the impression that Sul had feeling for him) and he is leaving so might as well let him go on a good note.
Either way hopefully Inho is finally satisfied with what he did to Jung and can finally move on with his life. At the end he didnāt want to get an apology or even recognition from Jung, he wanted to get even. And Inhoās ability to leave a mess behind him after leaving is amazing. Luckily for him this time, heās not the one that has to suffer the consequences.

Summary and my grumble
Iām not only disappointed.. I donāt like todayās chapter at all. Itās about nothing, explains nothing and I was expecting something really good. With seasons 1-3 I was used to be left on a cliffhanger and nothing ends up coming out of it for a while but not for the entirety of the season and season 4 has been just that, getting us worked up for a couple of chapters as if something is going to happen... just to end up being nothing and getting swept under the rug.
I like Sul because I could understand her and relate to her and thatās been missing for most s4 now. Iām very confused about Sulās attitude and thoughts, sheās sounding borderline irrational to me and itās annoying me, even if I sometimes didnāt like them I could at least make sense of her reactions before. But now she just ran away from Jung and she doesnāt want to talk to him because... Ā she says sheās not angry at him at all and she still feels the same about him. She repeats, that sheās just not feeling anything at all.... she just needs time for herself (god knows why) and away from Jung and the Baeks.
Jung went to see her at school after but didnāt show up in front of her. I donāt want to think that he is using Jaewoo and Kyanhwan to monitor her but Jaewoo looked suspicious. And I donāt know what Inhoās deal. Sul has 50 missed calls from Inha and 32 from Jung. This is becoming a big mess, too many problems are coming up but none of the old problems are being solved, it just feels like thereās way too much going on when itās supposed to be ending soonĀ
Soonki is really pushing the story, sheās dangerously close to screwing this over for me. Itās being unnecessarily dragging for long now (and while I had no problems with some dragging) itās really frustrating that the problems between Sul and Jung are just going round and round in circles since season 1 (maybe thatās what sheās trying to accomplish with all these, I donāt know). I understand if itās a break up but ffs just talk it out already! When you think something might progress it just doesnāt and thereās absolutely no reason for it not to. The pattern is always the same Jung does something, Sul reacts negatively and avoids him, Jung just waits it out and they donāt fix it.Ā
Iām just really hoping that there is a reason behind all and this will come full circle but right now itās just like Soonki either changed something big in the story and now sheās using these chapters to try and make it fit for what she has planned or she lost direction of the story which worries me. And neither option pleases me.

Canāt stop
send help, I think I have a problem
Why are people who have only watched the drama so eager to spoil others -who are reading for the first time- on the comment section? thatās not cool and itās kinda obnoxious to go rub it on someoneās face that you know more than they do when they didnāt ask for you to spoil them.Ā
Also, itās laughable when they think the webtoon is being written based on the drama, talking about changes made to the toon from the webtoon, the possibilities of a second season and what not. .......Ignorance is a blessing and knowledge a curse.

TIMELINES
Ok, I get frequent questions on this. So, letās see if I can simplify the Ciit timeline for everyone and maybe clarify some stuff along the way...
Iām going to do it by parts otherwise this post would get giganormus
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Before Sul and Jung met he was a sophomore and after finishing his second year in college he decided to do his military service (which lasts 2 years). Sul was a still a senior in high school at the time.
Year 1. Sul becomes a freshman and Jung is not around because he is serving his first year on the militaryĀ
Year 2. Sulās took what should have been her second year off, so no Sul on school, Jung was also not around as he was doing his second year in the military
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Year 3. Both Sul and Jung come back to school, Sul as a sophomore and Jung as a Junior.
They meet each other for the first time.
This is the year when they hated each otherās guts. What we call ālast yearā in the present. a.k.a flashback year
The first time Sul collapsed was at the end of the second semester of her sophomore year, right before break. Also the time when Jung started to like her
At the end of the year, Sul is thinking about taking another year off
She ends up not taking a second break thanks to Jung letting her have the scholarship (by the way, he did not apply for said scholarship, it automatically goes to the top student in the department)
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Break between school years, before they started talking to each other
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Year 4.This is the ācurrentā year, the one the main story is taking place on. Sul is a Junior and Jung is a Senior.
First semester- Jung approaches Sul the first day of classes (he no longer hates her at this point).Ā
They get close to each other during this semester
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Break between semesters- Jung and Sul start datingĀ
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Ā
Second semester- Season 3 & 4.Ā
Now itās getting to the end of the year, almost 2 years since they met each other.Ā
Jung is as good as graduated now that finals week is over (as shown in chap 60 s4)
Iāll accept requests on what stories I do first if you have any. Iāll also add whatever event you guys are curious to know the chronology of that I might have forgotten if you ask.
#Cheese in the Trap#cheese in the trap timelines#timelines#I tried to cover all the main points#and as a warning these are huge spoilers

Hi, for some reason I can never get the bookmark method to work for Oddsquad's season 3 translations. It really is a shame because Doonge's translations crack me up. Can you make a summary for season 3 so far? I can't access season 3 at all and I just want to move onto season 4 of Cheese in the Trap. Thank you :D
ah, If you want a complete summary, itās going to take a couple of weeks, Iām very busy for the next 2 weeks.Ā
did you read this post already?
