No more Splendies...

Hello!

So you might have seen my last post about my splendies pack (Or not, here’s the link: https://letsreviewthatbox.tumblr.com/post/618578191433515008/splendies-review ) In where I thought I got a thong in my “never thongs” pack. So I emailed them about it asking if they would please replace it as I don’t wear thongs since I find them very uncomfortable. A few hours later I heard back and was asked for pictures of the underwear as proof, so I just sent them the pictures I’d taken for the post then didn’t hear anything till late the next day and wasn’t super happy with the reply. The lady ignored that I’d asked for a replacement and went on to explaining to me it wasn’t a thong it was a “cheeky” and then went on to also explain the difference between a thong, a cheeky, and a bikini with pictures and everything. Which I honestly kind of felt like she thought I was just stupid or kinda complaining to complain when I had a real problem (I’ve only contacted them once before to size up since they run small so I’m not sure if this is the norm or not. o: ). I also tried them on both ways since a lot of people in a fan page for Splendies I’m in said that little part was the front but after trying it on both ways I thought there was no way that was the case. I emailed her right back within about 5 minutes saying I understood what all those types of underwear were and could I please have them replaced please since I won’t be wearing them and I didn’t really need them explained to me since I knew what all those things were and got no reply after 24 hours. I think got an email from someone new saying they were taking over since the first girl had been wrong and I was informed it was a “Brazilian Bikini” and that yes indeed that tiny little part went in the front, which to give you an idea I’m not a bigger girl at all but it turned into “front thong” if I even breathed. Seemed like a real easy way to get a UTI or something. DX So now I was honestly a little upset they’d even put something like this into the pack and kind of don’t want to be with them anymore if they’re going to give me things like this. So I emailed back saying either way I wouldn’t be wearing something like that as it’s even more uncomfortable that way then how I thought it went and to please either replace them or cancel my bag if they won’t since I don’t want to run the risk of getting things like this. Well they emailed back today and said they’d be sure to cancel my bag and after some time to think they hope I’ll come resubscribe to them. I’m sorry to say I don’t see that happening. I hope I don’t seem mean or anything but it’s kind of off putting if they don’t know what they’re putting in the bags and misinforming people, not getting to the root of the problem, and then instead of fixing it they let a subscriber go and tell them they hope they come back after some time to think instead of just replacing the funky feeling underwear. Hopefully other people don’t have this same problem and enjoy their panties! I tried but just wasn’t crazy about Splendies even after a year of having them which is to bad. So I’m sorry to say no more splendies on here but we still have Knotty Knickers and if you know of any other underwear boxes I might like let me know! :D Have an awesome day everyone and please be safe!

Splendies review

So I’ve had Splendies for about a year now and they’ve been... Okay, not that it’s a bad monthly box but they’ve had their ups and downs for me. That’s honestly why I got Knotty Knickers, just to kind of compare the two and see which is better! We’ll find out! :) So Splendies is a monthly underwear sub box where you can get 3 pairs of panties every month. :)  They offer sizes fom S to 4XL but please note if you’re a curve girl the price does go up sadly, which I’m not a huge fan of even if it doesn't effect me. they have two kinds of boxes which are “splendies” for sizes S - XL for $14.99 a month, they went up I believe a few months ago from $13.99. I haven’t really noticed any change in the box itself for the new price though. And “volupties” for $16.99 a month with free shipping. so a bit more on the pricey side. They offer three packs which are: Never thongs, only thongs, and a mix (both thongs and full coverage panties.) Please note since I don’t like thongs and find them uncomfortable I will only be reviewing the “never thongs pack”. :) For these guys I had to size up to a large since they’re sizing tends to be a bit off, so a heads up if you’re thinking of getting this pack! :) So here’s a first pair form this box:

Pretty cute pair, I like the pattern and the style of them! :) though I do wish they lined up a little better and they feel kind of cheaply made, also had a few strings hanging around the crotch. this pair is made of 92% Polyester and 8% spandex so not made of the best stuff sadly. they’re tag also says they retail for $12.00 though I honestly wouldn’t pay that much for these, I’d pay maybe $3 for these. Over all these get a C- On to the 2nd pair:

I really like this pair! They’re a very pretty color and I love the little see-through hip part, a little sexy but still good for simple everyday stuff! This pair feels a lot less cheap and better made, they do have some strings hanging off however that need to be snipped.This pair is made from 86% Nylon and 14% spandex, once again they’re tag says they retail for $12.00 I still think that’s a bit of a mark up for these but that might just be me, I think I’d pay about $8 for these. Very cute pair though and they get an A :) Now onto the last pair from this pack:

Oh, these are cute! Simple but sexy, I like the dark blue color- ... Wait. Are these a thong?

Yep. That’s a thong in my “never thongs” pack... Hhhhh, not ganna lie this is a bit annoying since I do really like this pair and it’s not the first time this mistake had happened in one of my packs. :( I’ll write them about the mistake and update you when I hear back! But sides that this is a very cute pair of panties! I love the look of them and the color, the fool of them is nice but nothing amazing, I wish they were a little more silky feeling but other then that very nice, no lose strings on them or anything. :) this pair is is made from 84% Nylon and 16% spandex and again on they’re little tag they say they retail for $12.00, still feel this is a bit pricey for what they’re made of but I don’t buy thongs so they could be priced a little differently. First post! A Knotty Knickers review.

Hello everyone! So this is a review for “Knotty Knickers” and also my very first time getting them, very exciting! They are a panties monthly box where you can get 1 - 3 pairs of underwear for between $3.99 and $10.49 plus shipping (My shipping was $2.05 which makes my total order $12.54.), and they offer sizing from XS all the way up to 3XL so pretty good in the sizing and I’m sure people are wondering no, the pricing doesn’t change for the sizing! :D

You can also get them once a month or every two months, you can also pick to make it a gift or not. they offer three packs which are: Never thongs, Only thongs, or Mixed (both thongs and full coverage panties.) As I don’t like thongs we’ll only be reviewing the full coverage kind! :) I’ll also add I totally forgot to size up to a large like I normally do, I emailed them and they were quick to get back to me and were nice, so my next pack will be the right size! I got this pack in a week so they ship very fast, which I was impressed by! :)

Here’s a first pair:

A cute dark blue pair with some pink lace details and a little pink bow, they felt very well made and were soft. These were made of 95% cotton and 5%spandex, they also seemed very well made no little strings or anything hanging off them! A+  Sadly these were a bit small for me but again that’s totally my fault for forgetting to size up.  Moving on to the 2nd pair:

Wow, these are bright! Honestly I’m normally not that into pink but I like these, very cute! and they were very soft and silky feeling which I loved and these these fit so I’ll be keeping them, yay! These ones also were nicely made and didn’t have any little strings or anything hanging off them. These ones were made with 95% Polyamide and 5% spandex, over all on these pretty nice! And here’s our 3rd and final pair from this pack:

Uh oh... these pair has some little stains on the back... It’s not a huge deal but if I’m paying for a new pair I’d rather they not be stained, I did try to wash these off to see if it’d come out but no luck. So I’ll be emailing Knotty Knickers and seeing what we hear back, I’ll post an update on that when that happens! :) Other then that these are very cute and well made, again not normally a pink girl but I do like these! And again besides the little spots these seem very well made, no stray strings or anything which is good! and these ones were made with again 95% cotton and 5% spandex just like the first pair which is nice. :) Well that’s it for this bag, what do you guys think? Hello there everyone! I happen to love unboxing monthly subscription boxes! Who doesn’t, right? So I thought I’d make a blog about it! I know, I’m far from the only person to do this or the first or any of that- But! With everything going on in the world I thought it might be nice to share. :)
