Inspired by @tulliolamonster ‘s recent work (Sorry for sudden tag but you inspired me to do this, now you have to face consequences XD)
Using the Pyrrhic Dance piece by Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema as ref. The characters placement is pretty much intentional, so I’d love to hear your opinions/own interpretations on this.
P.S: the context is Drift solo comic from IDW1. All background characters are from there.

Babygirl is done. Rodimus Prime from a comic panel. This is the biggest piece I've designed by myself and I am ecstatic. He is so detailed and perfect.
6 months of work. 5.68 x 12.5 (inch) / 14.42 x 13.75 (cm). 25 colors. He's tall and gorgeous. JUST LOOK AT THAT NECK!
He goes to the framers tomorrow.

"if i dont wanna draw i dont" h...how you maintain employment then... do you just want to draw a lot of the time
I just make sure I take breaks. If there’s a day I don’t want to draw, I don’t. Trying to force it is counterproductive and I know that I’m not gonna get anything done anyways (and if I try, it’s not gonna be good work and would likely have to be redone anyways). So giving myself time to recover knowing that the next day I’ll come back rejuvenated and twice as efficient is worth it. I’ve never missed a deadline and am in fact, usually pretty early! Last rotation I was able to turn my board in a week early despite taking a lot of breaks
I definitely do it strategically and plan out all my work days to account for light work days or days off. I pride myself on having good time management and that’s really all it takes tbh
