The Ackermans

Levi and Mikasa are without a doubt one of the strongest characters in Attack on titan. Imagine having to send off the people you love.

Levi sending off Hange:

Mikasa to Eren:

Their eyes speak volume. They weren’t “slaves” by some “host” nor mere products of titan science, they were just individuals who wanted to be there for their love ones.

Also, instead of saying “good bye”, they say “see you later”. This gives then the hope of seeing each other again.

Again, Levi to Hange:

Mikasa to Eren:

I hope Isayama has great things in store for these two because they absolutely deserve the best.

There are also parallels between Hange and Eren when it comes to interacting with the Ackermans.

Like how they asked Levi and Mikasa to runaway with them.

jean and connie retire from the military! they go to live on a farm!

sasha survives, of course, and lives with them :)

niccolo visits them once in a while. he cooks for them, using the food the trio produces, and makes heart eyes on sasha

mikasa and armin live somewhere nearby and so they frequently visit too

every month, they all gather together. they eat, they drink, they dance and joke. they have fun with their friends

of course, hange and levi are there too :)

you know, when during a family gathering, everyone pesters a young couple when are they going to have kids? yep, 104th guys do that to levi and hange

they try to be subtle. but they fail spectacularly

"hange-san?" sasha asks with a sly smile. "this shirt seems to be a bit small for you now. do you have some news for us?"

"yes!" hange exclaims happily. everyone holds their breaths. "levi makes excellent pancakes! i just can't get enough of them!"

and everyone groans in disappointment

oh, and, yeah, hange and levi live together. but the kids are still unsure if they're actually, you know, together

that is until jean catches them making out behind a chicken coop

but, yeah, he's super happy about his superiors and rushes to sasha and connie's room to tell the news

just a couple of hours later everyone knows that hange and levi are together

even historia, who was in the capital at that moment

they celebrate it with a huge feast. it almost feels like a wedding :)

Tbh with so many Levihan clues in the previous chapters and these scenes with Mikasa and Eren and how they parallel Levi and Hanji, I’ll take it as the official confirmation that Levihan is canon. Considering that this is not a romance story and this is probably the most we can get about Levi and Hanji’s feelings for one another, I’ll take it. Yams couldn’t have made it more obvious than this, especially since Levi and Hanji are both emotionally constipated (well, Levi more than Hanji 😅) so I wasn’t exactly expecting a love confession or a kiss. It also seems very fitting with their characters and how subtle the romantic implications have been so far.

I agree. I think we can accept it as canon now that EM and LH have been directly paralleled.

Although ch 126 and 132 were obvious enough. I don't think they were hints, especially when people explained all the nuances that were lost in translation. They were confirmations.

Why are some people angry at Levi for abandoning his squad? Are they forgetting they were about to turn into titans?? I just saw a stupid post where it says "Levi is a one-dimensional character who only cared about Zeke after Erwin died. Does he not even care about his squad to the point he abandoned them with no parting words?" Are we reading a different manga? 😂

Ahh yes because he had all the time in the world to say long emotional speeches. Levi made a ruthless choice and saved Armin, Mikasa and Pieck by doing so. He has no more time to be emotional. He just wants the nightmare they are in to end.

No one else but him could ever make this decision on the spot because he has lost So damn much already.
