Headcanon: Levi has a soft spot for bellies
First of all, let me clarify that I don't think Levi cares about the physical appearance of his potential partner. He's been through too much to be picky about looks; he would rather concentrate on your personality and the connection you two have. He loves you no matter what your body shape or size is because he loves you for YOU. It doesn't mean he's indifferent to your figure, though, especially your stomach. Seeing how your belly rolls as you sit causes a wave of warmth to spread over him, even if you're slim and the small rolls are mostly skin. He finds it embarrassing to admit. And it's something more than sexual attraction. In his eyes, the plumpness of your stomach is a good sign. It means you don't lack food, you have the energy to fight, and you're less likely to fall ill. You're safe. And that's the most important part for him. Because of the environment he grew up in, where starvation and sickness were common, he keeps worrying that similar struggles might fall upon you. But the sight of your rounded belly calms him down subconsciously, tells him you're okay. I'm not sure if he's fully aware of that mental association he has. Honestly, I don't think so. All he knows is that he can't help looking at you a little bit longer while you reach for something, your shirt rolling up. I also doubt he will ever tell you about this soft spot of his; you might have to figure it out on your own. But it won't be too hard, considering how his hands tend to gravitate to your waist and stomach every time he holds you.

Some news for all of the Levi lovers out there:
Levi loves you no matter who you are. Really, I'm sure of that. Maybe you are a kind soul, always trying to see the best in every situation. A little gullible at times, yes, believing that people around you have only good intentions. But so determined to keep your innocence despite all the suffering, fighting not to let the world change you. Warm hands and gentle touch. He loves your open and inviting heart, hoping you continue to view life with sparkling eyes, always.
Or maybe you are full of rage. Noticing every injustice, all of the inequality around you. Refusing to accept the current state of things. Not listening when people say that there is nothing one can do, not afraid to shout about their ignorance straight to their faces. Fighting to make a change in this world. And if it means using your teeth, if it means getting your hands dirty - then so be it. He empathizes with your anger deeply, seeing how the innocent suffer, knowing the worst enemy of a man is often another man. He loves your determination and fights for a change right beside you.
Maybe you are just tired. Struggling each day to keep pushing forward, to finish what you once started, to find sense in what has lost it so long ago. Tormented by loneliness but too scared of abandonment to let someone in. Fearful of what might come next, what else could go wrong. Wondering if you can face any more obstacles. A lost child, curled into yourself, hoping for salvation yet knowing it never comes. He was that child, too. Stuck in a corner with death teasingly swinging its scythe above his little head, threatening to take him away how it took his mother. He knows the nasty bite of loneliness all too well, knows the open wound it leaves. He helps to heal yours, disinfects it the best he can, knows that the wound will eventually turn into nothing more than a meaningless mark. And he loves that mark, as it is a part of you. Maybe you are a unique mixture of all the traits mentioned. Maybe you are none of the above. After all, your personality is too complex to be described in just a few simple sentences. Maybe you are a mystery, hidden motives and emotions stuck in the depths, unknown even to yourself. And that's okay. He loves that about you too.
