The way you describes DeadSam is so beautiful and perfect! That's exactly how I feel about them. I think that Deadman is the perfect person to help Sam heal while he also heals himself, that's why I think they have so much chemistry, when Deadman is around Sam it's almost like Sam is a complete different person (something like when Lou is around Sam), even during a short amount of time, like when Sam was watching Deadman's message at the start of DS2, Sam literally has heart eyes and little smiles seeing Deadman acting silly with the toys. It's so rare to see Sam like this and it's special.

i know i keep coming back to fragilehiggs when goldenbridges is the main higgs ship in the fandom but my boy sam is specifically reserved for deadman in my heart and soul and i desperately need to talk about that more but i have very little to say.

what more could you want than sam bridges, a man so alienated from the basics of human intimacy, to find love and companionship with deadman, an amalgam of humanity who seeks all the joys of human relationships, in a fun accidental baby acquisition co-parenting way?
