Sometimes when I’m bored I rewatch the ancient John swan drama cuz of how ridiculous it was. Noticed at one point someone asks John “why would you start throwing rocks around with Dream if you knew he had this on you?” And WOW is that so applicable to literally every “drama” he’s on.
Gumball? He had videos, witnesses, and messages
Connor? Had pictures and messages
The caiti situation? Had messages showing Harry/Brighton group was using him to push a false narrative and acting maliciously
Honestly each time there’s drama it always follows the same pattern that people try to start something without believing Dream can back himself up. It’s astounding
I remember when that stuff happened one of the friends of Swan who eventually sided with Dream now spreads the cautionary tale of “don’t mess with Dream because he WILL pull out the receipts, and he ALWAYS has the receipts” 😭
approach this post with caution as i know nothing about english commentary channels only that they are usually bad but turkey tom dropped video on qsmp. and wow. i skipped the whole part about dream, just saw that he did show part of dreams long tweet talking about his family that was in danger but also he showed evidence of dream talking about usmp even before qsmp was a thing. and he talked a little about qsmp ex workers and french union. but hes also dropping a whole quackitys brother lore including allegations so wow.
Ain’t no way I heard ‘BBL DRIZZY’ at my place of work 💀 it’s been a while since I’ve seen someone get cooked like this, and I am here for the downfall of Mr. Graham.
Y'all, the world is sleeping on what NASA just pulled off with Voyager 1
The probe has been sending gibberish science data back to Earth, and scientists feared it was just the probe finally dying. You know, after working for 50 GODDAMN YEARS and LEAVING THE GODDAMN SOLAR SYSTEM and STILL CHURNING OUT GODDAMN DATA.
So they analyzed the gibberish and realized that in it was a total readout of EVERYTHING ON THE PROBE. Data, the programming, hardware specs and status, everything. They realized that one of the chips was malfunctioning.
So what do you do when your probe is 22 Billion km away and needs a fix? Why, you just REPROGRAM THAT ENTIRE GODDAMN THING. Told it to avoid the bad chip, store the data elsewhere.
Sent the new code on April 18th. Got a response on April 20th - yeah, it's so far away that it took that long just to transmit.
And the probe is working again.
From a programmer's perspective, that may be the most fucking impressive thing I have ever heard.
When you're unsuccessfully looking for something and start gradually increasing your It Could Be There range. Like yeah sure maybe the rice cooker pot is in the freezer, idk
DREAM: i know there are a lot of people who might just think "oh you can just post anything, we don't care" and it's like yeah but I Love This, okay? i LOVE this- and i don't mean this, i mean making content, i love it. i love it. it is my favorite thing in the world to sit down, come up with an idea, do everything in my power to execute it, and then put it out there and see people's reactions. or just see people and how it affects them, how it changes their day, or just makes them smile, or whatever. or just creating, just like, making things
DREAM: um, so there's the day like, a lot of stuff people [say is] "oh you can just go play minecraft", no i don't wanna do that, okay? i've never done that, i've never done that. even with manhunt, which just seems so simple, "you're just sat down and playing minecraft and have your friends try to stop you" yeah but every video i was looking into editing techniques and new ways of using music, and new ways of making music and- um- new evolutions in minecraft and new bugs and glitches and how to y'know, practice. i was evolving as a player, so there was a lot of things i was spending my time on that was part of a creative process, and i feel like i maxxed out in a lot of those things. that's not- that exact thing is not- it's not fun for me
DREAM: so what is fun for me is creating new things, and evolving the space and um- anyway
