it is INSANE how hard we all went on the Dashcon 2 hype train. Despite not being a real event (a la Goncharov) we still managed to get Strange Æons, Muppet Joker and basically everyone tumblr famous in on the joke. There was surprisingly well editing AI coverage of the event, people made fanart, there was an Official Tumblr for Dashcon 2.

I hope if and when Dashcon 2 actually happens it will be exactly how we've collectively pictured it: with Muppet murder and real life horse plinko (the latter seems a tall order but we can try)
