Lexine's Not-So-Secret Diary
2 posts
I go by Lexine Walthers, why? I'm not sure. I am just a medeocre bullet journalist who is hoping to inspire others who feel they aren't creative to open themselves up to creating bullet journals too.                     https://www.instagram.com/lexines_not.so.secret_diary/

Some of my favorite bullet journal spreads
Every time I create a new bullet journal I tend to use some of the same spread ideas and layouts throughout each month. Here are some page ideas that I have found work best for me and that I just enjoy using.
Feeling Down / 12 Ways to Love Yourself (Self Care pages):
Tumblr media
We all have our off days and sometimes it really helps to have pages like this to look back on. They’re usually filled with tips and things to do to help put a smile on my face. And of course, there is always a few silly doodles.
Book List:
Tumblr media
Every year I create a goal of the amount of books that I want to read by the end of the year. I then use this page to keep track of all the books that I’ve read. Typically i just make a list of the book titles, but this year I’ve decided to make it look like a bookcase, just for some added creativity.
Mood Tracker:
Tumblr media
This is a pretty common spread, a lot of people use mood trackers as well, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t enjoy it. As a person who deals with a lot of anxiety, I find it very helpful to have a place to keep track of my emotions. Plus, it’s also fun to come up with ideas for each month.
Month’s Top 5:
Tumblr media
This is actually a new one that I’ve decided to try out this year. This page is used to keep track of my top 5 favorite songs for each month. I for one am the type of person who is almost always listening to music and I listen to pretty much any type, so I think it’d be a fun page to look back on in the future.
Memories Page:
Tumblr media
This page is pretty self explanatory. At the end of each month this page gives me the chance to reflect back on my month and enjoy my favorite memories. These pages are always nice to look back on at the end of the year.
Quotes Pages:
Tumblr media
Quotes pages in my opinion are always nice pages to have because they give a quick bit of inspiration wherever and whenever you need it. Whenever you need a pick-me-up just find a quote that helps you through and add it in your journal.

Feel free to use some of these ideas in your own journal if you’re not using them already. Make it your own by putting your own personal twists on it. And remember, it doesn’t have to be perfect as long as you like it and it works for you. Happy journaling!

Why I decided to create a blog.
I never really considered creating a blog about anything really, but recently I’ve grown so passionate about bullet journaling and I was trying to find a way to share my passion with others. Here’s the big catch with creating a blog about this, I don’t really consider myself to be the most creative person.
I’ve always enjoyed journaling and creating art and I’ve never really thought that I was any good at making art, but I wasn’t about to let that stop me from doing what I love to do.
That is really why I created this blog. I want to help others, or even just one person, feel like they can create a journal even if they don’t feel like they aren’t creative enough to make one. The truth is, you don’t have to be an amazing, or even a good, artist to create a bullet journal. I hope you enjoy this blog and I hope it inspires at least one person.
