The way you can tell that Jett trying to think about them maybe being Blake hurts. The pained expression on their face when he’s trying to think about it while talking to Jay, the way they hold their head when he’s explaining it to the whispers.

Their confusion as to how he knows things he’s not meant to know. How he knew Jay was gone with Jaxper, how he explains his mind going fuzz and scrambled and how when that happens it feels like it’s trying to make them think of anything else.

How almost angry they get at themself for not thinking about it. How he says that it’s easier to not think about it because things make sense when he isn’t thinking about it, things make sense when he’s only thinking about what’s happening in the present moment, but that the second he isn’t it’s bad again.

Him talking about loosing himself, how trying to think about Blake makes them loose himself and how that scares him.

The way Jett kept saying that he knows something is wrong with him and asks if it’s bad if he is Blake

How Jay immediately rushes to say that it isn’t, that he’d be glad if Jett was Blake, but that he’d also be happy with Jett just being Jett

The way Jay tries to comfort Jett when he repeats that he knows something’s wrong with him, grabbing their face so he’ll look at him and saying that nothings wrong with him and that nothing was wrong with Blake and that nothing is wrong with Jett. (And then of course fixing the flag he accidentally smudged)
