Dread fills the air as you enter the dining area of the fanciest dinner place I have seen. I smooth my dress down as I sit at this lavishly decorated place. The hostess leaves after saying my waiter will be out shortly to take my order. As I say thank you.

I pull out my phone to check the time, 8 I'm a little early as the date is 8 fifteen that's ok. I go on my phone to check my social media when a man walks up to me, he is in a waiter outfit that looks way too unflattering to his slim but built body, pale but strong jawline and beautiful blue eyes that contrast to his long black hair to a ponytail to keep it out of his face but from working some hair has escaped making his features even more captivating.

I'm pulled out of my mild day dream he speaks. "Hello I'll be your waiter this evening what can I get started for you? " he says with his intoxicating British accent. I secretly wished he was my date as I peek at my phone as it's 8 ten not 15 not my date. " I'll take some ( whatever you want drink ) ." You say. He gives you a bored look and says " I ment your food order unless you have a date? " he scoffs.

I look down at my outfit I thought I looked good. I wonderd why he was so salty but whatever he is probably tierd."yes I have a date I'll wait til he is here to order-" I say gesturing to him. "L-loki" he seemed shocked at me getting a date, ouch but whatever." Thanks I'll get your attention when he arrives thank you ." I say I think I said it nicely but he looks nervous but that leaves his face quickly as he asks " Do you not want a new waiter ? " he asks . I shake my head no he seems weirded out then walks away.

I should have left this date now but I didn't. All I hear is " Hey you (y/n)?" A kinda pitch voice answers, I look up and horrified think to the pic I got sent by my date , a tan strong , smart , clean man with blond hair and blue eyes with amazing fashion. What I see is not that it seeks he has not showed, dirty clothes, brown eyes and Grey hair oh did I mention he is like 87 I'm mortified as he sits down. Perfect timing as Loki comes back with my drink and and visibly does a double take at this man. "Can I get you a drink from the wine list ?" Loki offers," Do you have beer?" My date says. Loki says no they have wine. " what's the strongest stuff you got, I'll need it ." And not so subtlety gesturing to me. Ouch Loki looks like he's going to blow up then my date says "Doesn't he look like that Thor's murder ugly brother or sister the waiter looks like both am I right haha-" "Excuse you ?" I say while standing up " This man did no such thing he was under mind control and is trying to be a better person then what can be said about you you disgust me and I hope you can beg for his forgiveness because you will never get mine you disgusting slime ball with no fashion sense and the personality of Tony Starks left ball but poorer." I say stemming with anger I gesturing Loki to follow me into the hallway.

Loki speaks " why did you do that I was just going to make him loose his wallet, why protect me you know what I've done?" He ends "You don't deserve the hate you get and should treat everyone with respect unless they are mean old guys." I say laughing Loki chuckles as well. "Well I'm off my shift and your dates over I assume so may I walk you home ?" Loki says nervous of me saying no. "Yes but first thing I need to pay." I say loki says he can get that dealt with he needs my name " (y/n)" " lovely (y/n)". After you walk home together and then your at the door. "So... can I see you again." You say.

" I think I owe you a make up date want to go fine dining again?" Loki asks. "I think I'm done with that for a bit want to do a coffee date?" Loki agrees then leans in to kiss me I put my fingers on his lips soft underneath my fingers. "Next time." I say he grins mischievously and agrees. As I'm inside I realize I never got his number bummed I grab my phone to a text.

I was so enchanted by you I forgot to get your number, sorry I can't wait to see you again you are something special. And I can't wait to get to know you. -L
