If I Sent You an Ask !

hello! I'm making this post because there is such a limited word count on asks and I wanted to give more info. No tags bc this is just for anyone who may be looking at my account after I sent them an ask, and I'll be deleting it later. I know it may seem sketchy as hell and I'm really sorry for that, I tried my best to find a way to respectfully contact cc creators but I know it may have seemed like a weird ask which was due to the small word count. I am happy to answer any questions on public posts like this if you aren't comfortable DMing me without knowing more (also sorry if I get these terms wrong I haven't been on Tumblr in a good while).

Basically, this is an Ethnography paper for my college writing class and the goal is to analyze a specific discourse community. I chose the Sims 4 Custom Content community to analyze and a required part of it is to conduct an interview with a member of that community, which is why I am reaching out to Sims 4 CC creators here on Tumblr.

if you are interested, I would dm you a link to a google doc of questions you can freely edit to answer, you don't have to answer all the questions since there are quite a bit, but any answers are appreciated! Please just answer as honest as you can and openly to your own opinions and experiences, don't worry about being eloquent/professional. The questions are about the community such as the purpose/goal of the community, as well as how members tend to communicate, what genres are prevalent in the community, and what community specific language is used. There is more info on the google doc on all of these things (it may be a bit hard to understand, or maybe that's just me bc I've struggled a bit with the class and its concepts). If you have any questions at all, you can DM me, or you can post them here if you aren't yet comfortable sending me a DM.
