lgc family 2k19 ☆ interview

Hoon was excited, like a child just before the clock struck midnight the day before his birthday. He was bursting at the seams with energy, his legs jittering all over the place whenever he sat down—which wasn’t very often. Anyone who saw would think that he’d had one too many energy drinks as he bounced around back stage half practising half just drifting from place to place. this was a huge event and the fact that he, a man of humble origin, got to be a part of it was frankly mindblowing. Nearly missing the staff who was waving him over, Hoon did a double take and smiled sheepishly as he trotted over to where he was going to be interviewed, bowing slightly in apology to the exasperated staff who gave him a Look that didn’t bode well if he flubbed this. Quickly he checked his hair and straightened his clothes before nodding and watching the interviewer count down from 3... 2... 1...!

★ Good evening! Care to introduce yourself?

“Hello! I am Choi Hoonmin, dancing machine and that funny taekwondo guy who lost his shoes in his introduction clip. Please look out for me on the stage!” Hoon smiled broadly and flashed a peace sign at the camera, happy to be playing his over the top personality up some more. He wondered if people who would see this interview would like him and want to know more about him. Hopefully he’d gain at least one new fan through this even though there were so many more trainees milling about.

★ Hoonmin-goon, how are you feeling right now in this very moment?

“I’m honestly so very excited to be here!” he exclaimed, eyes crinkling into small crescents as he grinned at the lens, his hands coming up to clasp each other in a form of thankfulness. “I’m so grateful that the company lets every one be part of something so brilliant—even if you’re an undebuted trainee like myself. It really makes me feel like we’re one big family, you know? So, CEO-nim, thank you so much for hosting this!” Hoon bowed deeply and gave the camera two thumbs up when he was upright. “Legacy Entertainment fighting!”

★ What part of the concert are you looking forward to the most?

“Um... am I allowed to say all of it?” Hoon laughed and adopted a thinking pose, his hand coming to rest under his chin as he pretended to think hard. “The part that I’m looking forward to the most is... performing Danger by Haru-sunbaenims. The choreography is very powerful and intense so please anticipate seeing a strong masculine image from us boys.” He looked into the camera and gave a wink, fully aware of just how cheesy he came off. But maybe he’d make someone’s heart flutter somewhere out there.
