jungmo snorts back a laugh as he accepts the can of sprite. he clears his throat. "oh nooo, my poor baby, i'm so sorry." then he pulls the tab of the can to open it. after taking a sip, he sighs comfortably. "it's okay if you suck. i'm sure you good at other things."
"and if it makes you feel any better, you have a really pretty face. i think people would just eat you up." jungmo feels for jaehyun. really, he does, but he doesn't know what it's like to not be talented. not to brag, but he's a bit of an all-rounder himself.
"why bother getting stung? just tune out their nagging anyways." that's what jungmo does for practically anybody and everybody when he doesn't care and he definitely doesn't care a lot of the time.
jungmo rolls his eyes as he nods his head anyways. "yeah, alright, you weeb, i'll watch the movie with you but i need to do an assignment first. it's hard being educated, talented and good looking but somehow i make it work."
starter for @lgcjungmo
"i got yelled at, again."
it sort of feels like a pattern at this point. jaehyun going up to jungmo at the end of a day filled with training, with nothing but a spare can of sprite that he almost always offers his friend. followed by a loud groan, a sigh, and a complaint about being called out for his less than spectacular skills.
it's not like he's a terrible singer. it's just that he can't hit a note and he knows it frustrates the trainers. he's more of a rapper anyway! if you count speed-talking rapping.
he shrugs and slumps against the lockers. "sometimes i wish my ears would get stung by a bee, just so i can block out the nagging," he sighs, but of course he doesn't mean it. it'd probably hurt, a lot. and jaehyun isn't too fond of pain.
"anyway, it's sunday tomorrow. you wanna stay up and rewatch the jujutsu kaisen movie?" see, there were many ways that jaehyun could've chosen to unwind and relax, to take his mind off the criticisms he'd been faced with. his favourite way though, was through watching animated movies. over and over. even if it meant dragging jungmo along.

impulse decisions were jungmo's forte. that and pissing off his parents. when he told them that he decided to forgo becoming a doctor or anything of the sort, they were less than pleased. his older brother thankfully convinced them to ease off on jungmo and said he'll take full responsibility of jungmo's decision. not that he was going to change his mind or anything, he was dead set on becoming a trainee.
being famous was always in the back of his mind but becoming a trainee was also something he had no actual idea about. there's only so much to go off of online threads and forums and experiencing it for real is a whole different ballpark.
the compromise he had with his brother was that he could continue his training as long as he went to school - whatever he went to school for was his choice however. jungmo thought that was the easiest and most obvious choice. what wasn't easy was balancing going to class and then heading back to the company to train. mentally, he was drained and now physically, he'd be drained. what a time.
he'd been in his own head while stretching and getting ready in the practice room. that's when jungmo looks up at the presence joining him and nods his head to acknowledge brooke. "oh, hey, what's up?" obviously knowing nobody when jungmo entered the company, he somehow gravitated towards the other. "can't say i've been settling in that well. i get being new and adjusting but going to school and training together is a lot easier said than done."
– the sun and its shadow
@lgcjungmo
being a trainee for over a year has led to brooke being quite consistent with his routine. attend university courses online, take notes and study them after classes until it was time to go to his practice lessons. doing everything virtually did give him an advantage. he didn't have to leave his dorm room, and he was able to do nearly everything in the comfort of his bed. though he had quickly learned that how unproductive that was, and swiftly moved his studying sessions to the nearest cafe, immediately satisfying his caffeine intake and sweet tooth. it made it easier to get things done when his bed wasn't tempting him to take a nap.
training came in the afternoon, following the allocated slots being given to him, he found himself in the dance studio, expression brightening up when he saw one of the newest trainees tha thad joined them sitting on the floor doing his stretches, and he quickly made his way to him, sitting beside him, hands reaching out to touch his toes too, voice soft as he spoke next, words genuine and feelings honest.
"jungmo, how have you been settling in? i know that the first few weeks are really stressful. the offer still stands; you can always come to me if you need any help, okay?”

"I like to think I could charm my way out of anything." Playfully, Jungmo sticks his tongue out in jest. He nods his head after though. "Yeah, mine are pretty dramatic, too. I think it's where I get it from."
He likes that Hanbin gets shy around him. It's nice to know he has that kind of effect on people. It makes entertaining himself all the better when he has someone to elicit cute reactions out of. He raises an eyebrow at the comment - compliment? - he's not sure actually.
"Sharp? Really? Not even handsome or dapper? Just sharp? Huu huu, I think my heart hurts.~" He bumps shoulders with Hanbin to show he's messing around and that he's not really offended. "Thanks, I clean up pretty nicely when I'm not constantly wearing sweatpants and t-shirts in the practice room, right?"
Jungmo leans back comfortably into the couch. "Uh shoot, nothing new with me. You know how it is. Go to class, go to practice, rinse and repeat until I get tired of it." Honestly, he'd rather be doing this than fully dedicate himself to school anyways. "I'm not as exciting as you think I might be."
Hanbin loves family outings! He makes use of every possible chance to reconnect with his parents and siblings who are always so occupied with their busy schedules. They plan a visit the Parks, a family he's known since his early teens, and Hanbin's particularly excited to see their son, Jungmo.
He giggles in response to the older boy's cheeky comment, and his cheeks start to feel warm. "They might hear you..." He acts shy around the older boy, especially given the current circumstances but there's history there, also.
"And, yeah, you know how my parents get. Very dramatic," he grins, but it's not exactly true. He went out shopping specifically to find the perfect outfit for the night... "Thank you... You look good, too, sharp." He doesn't mind Jungmo's eyes on him, but bites his lips to keep his comments to himself. "Tell me, what's new?"

dinner with @lgchanie
jungmo doesn't like having dinner with his parents. by extension, he doesn't like having dinner with his parents, his parents' friends, and his parents' friends' son. it doesn't help at all that his brother is pretty convincing (he's actually not - jungmo just doesn't like getting on his older brother's bad side.)
dinner isn't ready yet by any means but he's situated on the couch while his parents are chitchatting away with the mins. and of course, sitting by his side is a familiar face. just as he's about to reach towards the table where a spread of cheeses and crackers are for a quick bite, he's halted by his brother who glares at him. "don't fill yourself up, we haven't even had dinner yet."
he opens his mouth to respond but jungmo's brother gives him a look that says he doesn't want to hear it. instead he shrugs and turns towards hanbin. "so... you come here often?" the cheeky look on jungmo's face shows up instantly as soon as the words leave his mouth. "kidding~ but i see they forced you to dress up, too." giving the other a once over, jungmo grins to himself. "you look good, hanbin."

neon suits & knockoff socks
a prom prep starter for @lgcwenjun
when jungmo received wenjun's text of "i need help... i think you'll like it :)!", he should've known better than to think it'd actually be for something fun. in fact, fun doesn't cover it. instead, he's face to face with a bunch of boxes after entering wenjun's dorm.
he even put on pants for the guy! wenjun knows how much jungmo hates wearing pants. folding his arms across his chest, he let out the biggest sigh. "i'm guessing that you didn't text me so we could make out in your room?"
taking a seat on the other's couch, jungmo leans back to assess the situation in front of him. "can you tell me why you have a million boxes that say nike?" upon further inspection, jungmo notices that that's not what it says at all. "wait, what the heck is niko? wenjun? dude? did you get scammed again?"

3 RANDOM FACTS:
shorts in the morning, shorts in the evening, shorts in the summer, shorts in the winter. jungmo is that one crazy student who you will always see wearing shorts. it's rare to see him wearing pants unless it's for a special occasion.
he doesn't even carry a backpack to class. he simply carries around a beat up tablet, a stylus tucked behind his ear, a charger, his phone, his wallet and his keys.
if you see a sleeping body on a bench or under a tree, it's most likely jungmo napping as he waits for class. (and yes, he will oversleep anyways and miss class by accident)

trainee mission 014 // wc; 342
the cruise was fine. that's about as much as jungmo could say about the trip overall. he's taken enough vacations with his brother to not care that the company provided them with a free trip on a cruise. was it nice that they stopped at various countries and they got to explore here and there? absolutely. was it nice that the cruise provided various recreations for anyone and everyone? of course.
but jungmo didn't care. he didn't care about ships. he didn't care about pools. he didn't care about exploring. he was only here because the company made him. was it better than being stuck in a practice room the entire time? yes, that much is true but still. it wasn't much to write home about either way. but his brother is still going to ask him about it and then jungmo felt obligated to get him a gift too so overall, it just wasn't fun for him.
"yeah, the trip was great." jungmo sounds absolutely bored and he's looking down at his nails. clearing his throat, he tries not to sound so disintered because that could be bad for him should anybody important really observe him and his reflection. then he's certain they'd really make him reflect on his words and actions.
"i think it's really nice that the company can afford to give the trainees a trip like this even if it's not that productive. it makes sense though. keep us happy and then we'd be more willing to stay at the company and work hard or something like that." jungmo knows he seems a bit cynical about it but it's just how he feels at the moment.
jungmo shrugs his shoulders. "but yeah, would've rather been on this cruise than practice my singing so i can't complain. thanks legacy, you get a thumbs up from me. let's do this again but hopefully i'll be debuted by then so i don't have to join another cruise." he makes sure to keep his eyeroll to a bare minimum but oh well.

it's fun. wenjun is fun. jungmo can't decide why it is he teases the other trainee so much now but he knows that he doesn't ever want to stop at all. it helps that wenjun is cute and gives the best reactions.
he lets out a laugh when wenjun defends himself on reading. shaking his head from the adorable comment from wenjun has him grinning. "if you needed help with your korean, all you had to do was ask. i used to tutor people before." he's not lying about that. jungmo was practically forced by his parents and brother to tutor as a means of adding to his list of extracurriculars."
"i mean math is a totally different thing compared to korean but in practice, they're both languages... but like i said, i could help you. for a price, of course." jungmo decides to be cheeky about it after all. "i charge a rate of five kisses per hour. hehe kidding~"
his eyes widen at the motion of wenjun grabbing his hand to drag away to a secluded corner. "damn, taking me by the hand and bringing me to a spot nobody else is? if i didn't know any better, i would think you're trying to makeout with me. i don't mind but a head's up would've been cool."
he doesn't wait to see wenjun's reaction because he knows the other would either glare at him or be shocked and appalled. he's hoping for the glare because wenjun's just so adorable trying to look mad at him. jungmo chuckles before telling wenjun to hurry up and start reading to him.
wenjun doesn't – no, he can't – seem to figure out what jungmo wants from him. if he'd somehow given jungmo wrong signals then he truly is, very apologetic for that, but wenjun feels like he's done enough explaining in the bathroom before, where jungmo had massively misinterpreted his attempts at friendship. so now he really, really, is at a lost. because he's convinced, that jungmo is convinced, that wenjun does in fact have a sort of crush on him. which isn't true! just as wenjun had explained before!
but again, perhaps wenjun was just overthinking. and jungmo was just ... being weirdly friendly. he doesn't know, he can't tell what jungmo is thinking, ever. and that freaks him out.
"but i like reading," he says, voice a little softer. "plus, it helps my korean!" he adds, as though he needed to defend himself in front of jungmo of all people. as though jungmo would actually listen to him. he feels his own cheeks heat up, mostly out of embarrassment for having been told he isn't like most people, and then for getting defensive. this felt very out of character for someone like wenjun. trust jungmo to be the one to have wenjun acting like such.
he has to lift his eyes up slightly to look at jungmo, which is annoying. because why is he 182cm? why did he have to be taller than wenjun? he bites at his bottom lip, would that really work? "really?" he says, contemplating it for a moment. "my korean is a little awkward," he confesses, "so if you don't understand what i'm saying ... don't get mad okay, i'm trying my best!" he continues, furrowing his brows as though deep in thought. "but i can't read it to you here. it's a library, we need to be quiet. let's go to a more secluded corner, and i'll read quietly," gently he takes jungmo's hand and begins to lead him elsewhere.
still, it feels a little mean of wenjun to say that he wants jungmo to go away ( even if he does ). it might hurt his feelings, and wenjun would never want to do that to anyone. so he turns around as he pulls jungmo to a corner, "and it's not like i want you to leave me alone..." that would be mean to admit, he thinks, "... we can read separately in silence after."

normally, jungmo wouldn't give wenjun the time of day because wenjun doesn't give him the time of day. he likes attention, thrives off of it. to be as obsessed with messing with someone who doesn't give him that, jungmo must surely be off his rocker. that much is a given. but messing with wenjun is a lot of fun. the reactions he gets in return bring a smile to his face.
someone who is usually so nice and sweet can actually scowl that much. jungmo thinks he likes wenjun's furrowed eyebrow expression the most. it happens often whenever they pass by each other back at the company. the cruise ship's library is no different either. "hi wenjun."
jungmo simply shrugs his shoulders before scanning over the book's cover. "reading's pretty lame, don't you think? especially when you're on a cruise ship. most people would be at the pool but you're here reading?" none of the sports either.
"but you're not most people, are you, wenjun?" interesting as always. jungmo started grinning as he held out the book he grabbed before the other could. "i'll let you have this book if you let me stay and read it to me. you'll do it, right? i promise to leave you alone after." and if he holds his hand behind his back and crosses his fingers, well, that's his business only.
hello to my hell.
it annoys wenjun that even despite his tall stature, he still has to lift his eyes slightly to meet jungmo's. it wasn't fair. he's already decided to back off a little – if jungmo really needed the book then fine, wenjun could always search for it elsewhere ( even though he really, really wanted it ).
now that he's looking at jungmo, he suspects that the other boy doesn't even need the book, that he'd decided to pick the book just to bother wenjun. "uh..." and wenjun isn't one to let his facial expression drop so quickly, but he can't quite help the way he shows just a little bit of disdain, eyebrows furrowing, when he hears jungmo speak.
jungmo is... for a lack of better word, odd. wenjun's got an inkling of a feeling that jungmo still thinks that wenjun likes him, even after wenjun had firmly told him no!! or rather, with the way that jungmo would purposely smile at him ( that weird, weird smile ) when they passed by each other in the hallway, had him suspecting as such. still, to think so would be rather ... mean. and to treat jungmo unkindly just because of it, would be even meaner. and wenjun wasn't a mean person.
"hi jungmo," he says, but he's careful to keep a slight distance. he tries his best to put up a smile. chalks up jungmo calling him darling to a friendly gesture! "are you here to read too?" he asks, gesturing to the book. "i was going to take a look at that... but if you want it you should take it first," he offers.

the trainees all getting a free vacation wasn’t on jungmo’s list but it’s appreciated. it’s better than being stuck in the legacy training room. aside from some workshops they have to take, it’s pretty much a full fledged trip. on a cruise ship for goodness sake. nothing better than that. not to mention the amount of amenities offered, too. jungmo shouldn’t be surprised because this is the power of money and connections after all.
jungmo wandered around a bit looking at the other trainees playing basketball or using the rockwall or relaxing by the pool. typically, he’d also be relaxing by the pool and laying down to potentially catch a few z’s but lately he’s just been thinking a lot lately. about someone specifically. which is weird to jungmo in the first place because he’s never like that about anyone.
jungmo doesn’t know what else to say. whenever they bumped into each other in the hallways, wenjun would glare at him while jungmo just grinned back at him. his only thoughts being that the other trainee looks wicked cute with his furrowed eyebrows. he kinda likes that wnejun is playing hard to get with him especially after that odd confession. he’ll chalk it up as the other being super shy.
he’d walked to the ship’s library on a whim because it’s just simply where his feet took him. color him surprised when he sees his the person of his most recent … interest. yeah, that’s the best way to describe this. jungmo walks over quietly next to wenjun who’s busy trying to grab a book. he reached for the same one on purpose and the smirk on his face turns bigger when he notices wenjun’s reaction to him being here. “well, hello to you too, darling. you seem happy to see me.”
no thank you starter for @lgcjungmo
things had been ... odd, to say the least, between wenjun and jungmo after their little encounter in their bathroom. wenjun had no idea how jungmo had gotten the ridiculous idea that wenjun liked him ( romantically!! ) – and then to call him a devil? wenjun? a devil? all because wenjun wanted to give him flowers! the thought of jungmo irked him. and it wasn't easy for wenjun to be irked by anyone.
god, wenjun barely liked jungmo as a person. but wenjun simply didn't have a single bone in him to hate someone – which was exactly why it had been so easy for him to forgive his cheating exes in the past. still, why in the world would he ever think of jungmo romantically? he would have much rather dug up a hole and lived in solitary for years than to have to interact with jungmo again. which of course, didn't prove very easy, seeing as to how they were after all in the same company, and were now sailing the seas together.
he does though, try his best to avoid jungmo where he can. and it works for a while, until he finds himself bumping into jungmo in the library, the both of them reaching out for the same book.
"oh sorry! ... oh," the apologetic look on his face is wiped away when he sees exactly who he's apologizing too. his eyes glance up to the book he'd been eyeing and momentarily he struggles with whether he should just give it up, or not. "did you... need the book?" he asks, gesturing to it.

friends? were they even friends? they didn't hang out regularly like that. jungmo thinks he only sees wenjun here and then when they somehow bump into one another in the hallways. they're certainly friendly at best but not quite friends. they could be, jungmo thinks to himself.
he clutches the flowers a bit closer to his chest and smiles down at the bouquet before looking up to lock eyes with wenjun. "you say you wanna be friends but you gave me this," jungmo vaguely gestures to the flowers he's carrying, "and then you tell me to just take it as the start of our relationship?"
"lai wenjun, you are absolutely a devil..." jungmo mutters under his breath. the other says one thing, does something different and then says another thing completely different. it's just giving jungmo whiplash in all honesty. the only thing thing jungmo can legitimately take from this encounter is that wenjun likes him. definitely likes him enough considering he was gifted flowers. he can deal with that.
but what was that about congratulations? jungmo tunes back into their conversation and nods his head slowly. whatever. overthinking wasn't something jungmo did anyways. maybe that's why he only hears what he wants to hear and says what he wants to say. "you know, giving me a bouquet in the bathroom isn't really romantic, wenjun."
wenjun had honestly just thought of it as a waste to throw away a perfectly good bouquet – it wasn't as though he'd had any plans to give it to anyone in particular, he'd just simply decided to arrange some flowers the night before after a particularly tiring day, and was now looking for a prospective owner. thankfully though, he does come across one park jungmo in the bathroom. and without much thought, he decides to give jungmo the bouquet, citing it as a sort of congratulations for getting a minor role. he doesn't though, expect to be caught in this situation. what...? what?
WHAT? he could hardly make out what jungmo was saying on a good day, and now jungmo was blabbering more gibberish that felt as though it would just fly over wenjun's head. why was jungmo talking about a relationship? what did 'non-committal' mean? huh? he thought wenjun was cute? and –
"wait... we're not already friends?" is what wenjun finds himself saying instead. he's still completely confused by this whole... ordeal. despite being pretty tall himself, wenjun has to tilt his head just slightly to meet jungmo's gaze. "is it because we don't see each other often? uhm, but i thought hyung and i were already pretty close..." he continues, his eyebrows begin to furrow and his expression drops slightly. did jungmo not consider them to be close? "so we only start as friends now?" is that what jungmo meant? that had to be it, right?
it really would be a waste to throw these flowers away though, so again, wenjun gently pushes them towards jungmo. "you should just take this then, as a start of our relationship!" oh friendship. the word he'd meant was friendship. but that was fine, wenjun thinks. jungmo probably got what he meant. "congratulations!"

he's just not that into you
did jungmo receive flowers often? no but whenever he had his violin recitals, his brother would show up at the end with a bouquet that eventually wilted. otherwise, that's most of his experience so when he came face to face with a bouquet of pretty baby blue flowers from one wenjun, he was confused. then his confusion turned into realization before it morphed into something akin to smug.
jungmo accepted the bouquet with a smirk painted on his face. "ahh, i knew it. you like me, right? why else would you give me this?" it's not the first time someone's liked him and he knew it wouldn't be the last time either. it's a good boost to his ego, he's not going to lie about that.
"i'm not really looking for a relationship right now, you know? honestly, if you're down for something non-committal, i'm game for that at least." shifting the flowers from his right arm to the left, jungmo reached his hand out to pat wenjun on the shoulder. "you're super cute and all, but maybe we should just be friends."

Jungmo didn't have it in him to tell Hyuntae that he didn't even want to do both in the first place. If he had it his way, he'd easily just choose to only be a trainee. Would he even get to debut in the end? Who knows? Would it piss his parents off more? Absolutely. Going to school just meant appeasing them and making his brother worry less. Nothing more.
"It's like they define success as only being these certain professions. It's so... annoying. Like maybe I don't wanna save lives and I just wanna see my own face up on a billboard sign." Well, that would be the dream after all. If only Legacy could realize what a talented powerhouse they had in their midst and just debut him so then everything could just fall into place.
"Breakfast for dinner?" Jungmo paused, genuinely never having done that before in his life. He's eaten a strict breakfast is breakfast foods, lunch is lunch foods, and dinner is dinner foods but never a breakfast for dinner. He's never really had to since the Auntie they hired would cook their required meals. "Alright, I'm down. But that's a no from me on the homework. I think I had enough of learning. Maybe I can help?"
hyuntae shook his head. "no no. i know you didn't mean you were trying" .... "in my opinion it takes an amazing about to strength to do both. its good to have a backup plan" every plan in life, at any moment had the chance of falling through. having a backup plan was the smartest course of action.
"what is with our parents always wanting doctors or lawyers?" he basically whispered out. it probably was parent's greatest wish to have children that succeeded and were guaranteed to make a good sum of money. any normal parent would worry about their child's future. not his family though. all they cared about was their reputation.
"i guess you're right. breakfast for dinner?" he would hear his american friends call it that all the time. well now he got the chance to do it. hyuntae walked over to the cabinets. looking through it he found some pancake mix. "yes!" he exclaimed. "i can make us pancakes. you sit work on your homework and i'll make us pancakes and eggs!" ... "i wonder if rowon is hungry"

cherrylgc:
cherry had truthfully never been one to care much for details, not when it came to anything. details in school work was boring, and focusing on it would make the project or homework take longer (though often, you’d get better results for looking into the details too). when knowing the rules in the game, you didn’t have to know them a hundred percent and all the details, at least not in cherry’s eyes. even after over a year in legacy, she still didn’t focus a lot on the details as she danced, perhaps that was why she still totally sucked at dancing after so long.
she’s not sure why she suddenly finds the details important when she’s never done before, is this a sign she likes acting? she hasn’t ever tried it before, and getting a minor role it’s not like she’s much trying it now, but still for some reason she feels more interested in this than she usually would be interested in anything around here in legacy. “experience… in standing?” she scratches her head “i stand up when i take the bus to school?”. “ah come on, come on! tell me how to stand” and she proceeds showing the same two positions once again with no difference to them. “if i am good at standing, do you think i could become a statue? that sounds kind of boring though…”.
jungmo can't stop the smile from forming on his face. he really has no idea what the difference in poses are? honestly, he's not even sure if it really matters since they're both in the minor group and wouldn't have any major scenes. still - on the off chance, they should look their best at all costs, even if it means practicing things like how to stand a certain way on stage. “standing when you take the bus?”
“haha, well yeah! the best statue ever!” jungmo tilted his head to the side like a clueless puppy. “or not. you can be whatever you want. your first pose was still better, i think.” he never would’ve spared a second thought regarding how to appear while acting and singing on stage, but it’s planted a seed in his brain.
“so, question for you then. should i be facing with the right side of my face--” jungmo turns his head to the right. “--or the left side of my face?” he turns his head to the left. “right or left?” he slowly keeps switching between the right and left, wanting to know. “i mean i know both sides are equally attractive but one of them must be better, yeah?”

jungmo shrugged his shoulders in an effort to appear as nonchalant as he could be about it but he still kept a look of glee on his face. "ahh, no way, nothing to admire honestly. like it's really just a backup in the event that juggling both doesn't work out." he stroked his chin in thought realizing his comment could come off poorly. "well, that's not to say i'm not trying or anything when it comes to both things."
he got up from his seat and stretched his arms up to the ceiling as he let out a satisfied groan from finally getting up and moving around. "nothing too bad, just environmental science." he went against his parents wishes when he became a trainee and once more when he chose to study the environment instead of going down the medical route. "my parents wanted me to be a doctor but you can see how that's turned out."
following hyuntae to the fridge, jungmo was also curious what they even had inside their fridge. "umm, eggs, i think. and... cheese? i vaguely remember a carton of milk in there too." suffice to say, jungmo doesn't stock up their fridge and usually eats and snacks when he's out on campus. "so sunny side eggs then?"
hyuntae was used to having to fend for himself by now. so he wasn't horrible in the kitchen. while growing up, he would sneak into the kitchen while people cooked and actively tried to learn. hyuntae was trying to branch out, and become friends with more of the trainees. he was so many years in and still didn't have people other than his brother to spend time with. "i admire you going to school and being a trainee"
he knew his adopted parents would love nothing more than for him to quit being a trainee and go back to school for something more "appropriate". specially since baekhyun had also decided to become a trainee. "what are you studying again? i'm sorry i forgot again" hyuntae asked scratching the back of his head before going over to the sink and washing his hands. "so what are you hungry for?" he questioned walking over to the fridge. "what do we even have in here"

after everything, jungmo had been given a minor role despite not wanting to get anything at all. sure, he didn't need to try as hard as the ones who received a major role but he still had to blend in well enough to not stick out like a sore thumb. even that might be hard to do because if he did terribly, he knows they'd call him out. if he did an amazing job, he might also get called out for trying too hard. what's he supposed to do then? be average? impossible. park jungmo and average don't exist next to each other.
jungmo had his arms folded across his chest as he waited patiently to be told what they're to do next. he releases a quick sigh when he feels a quick prod before turning his head. "oh!" he claps excitedly at the poses he's shown, deciding to entertain her question instead of staying bored. "you're really good at this! i like the second pose better for sure." did the poses look any different from each other? he had no idea but that's okay. "do you have experience with this kind of stuff?"
a bit different
while cherry had had her eyes on acting, that didn’t mean she was good at it. it was a bit stupid, but cherry was in legacy and still not sure whether she wanted to be an idol, model or actress. it all seemed fun, but it also all seemed hard. cherry had never particularly been the best at anything, and that hadn’t changed when she entered legacy. cherry still sucked ass in singing and dancing, and she still had yet to try modeling, and though she’d considered acting, she too hadn’t tried that. cherry had wished for a major role, but she understood why she got a minor, she still wasn’t the best actress, and this was a musical which meant it included singing, something cherry was far from good at.
standing behind the stage, it wasn’t like she had to do much when it was her turn to go up on the stage, but still, cherry wanted to do her best. she stands next to someone, poking them. “when we stand on the stage, do you think i should stand like this, or this?” showing two boring poses which pretty much look the same, but who knows, maybe how she stands could be important.
