Week 299: Sunday, June 15th, Happy Father's Day! We went to see the Science Wizard at the new Belle Haven Library, 100 Terminal Ave. Lots of fun experiments with air pressure, fire, soda & Mentos! That evening we got dinner from Local Kitchens and watched Howl's Moving Castle.

Week 298: Saturday, June 14th, our first time at Mt. Davidson Park, Myra Way, San Francisco, the tallest point in S.F. with amazing views! We also saw the Mt. Davidson Cross and an almost proposal. That morning Maxim had gymnastics and Benji's 8th birthday party! In the afternoon we hung out at Karen's house with friends from work. In the evening we watched the live action Disney's Snow White.

Week 297: Wednesday, June 4th, Happy Anniversary Lianna & Andrei and Jean & Bob! We celebrated by going to see Joshua Redman's Advanced Jazz Improvisation - Final Concert at the Braun Music Center, Campbell Recital Hall, 541 Lasuen Mall, Stanford. Beautiful music! Beforehand we explored some of the sculptures in Canfield Court including Bruce Beasley's "Vanguard" (Terran thought it looked like two animals kissing), Don Yeoman's "Stanford Legacy", Alia Farid's green "Amulets", and Alexander Calder's "The Falcon". Afterwards we got dessert at CoHo, 459 Lagunita Dr.

Week 296: Sunday, May 25th, Terran and Andrei's first time at Las Palmas Park, 850 Russet Dr, Sunnyvale, and Maxim and Lianna's first time there with water! We had a yummy picnic from Sourdough & Co, 304 W El Camino Real, and lots of fun in the sun. 🏝️ Afterwards we got rolled ice cream from Kween's, 292 Castro St, Mountain View, and coffee from Red Rock Coffee, 201 Castro St. That evening we watched Mufasa.

Week 295: Sunday, May 18th, our first time at the Computer History Museum, 1401 N Shoreline Blvd, Mountain View. 💻 We had a great time exploring the ChatBots Decoded: Exploring AI exhibit, seeing Shake the SRI robot, and playing cool old video games! Afterwards we got brunch at Papas and Eggs, 2070 Old Middlefield Rd. That evening we watched The Minecraft Movie.

Week 292: Sunday, April 27th, our first time seeing Cirque du Soleil's ECHO, Under the Big Top, at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds, 344 Tully Rd, San Jose. Amazing!!! Afterwards we got dinner at Chef Zhao Kitchen, 2180 W Bayshore Rd #120, Palo Alto. Earlier in the day Maxim went to Wesley's birthday party at Ninja Republic, 1701 Leslie St Suite 100, San Mateo.

Week 291: Saturday, April 26th, our first time at Water Dog Lake & Open Space, North Trailhead, Lake Rd, Belmont, with Mimi and her family. Beautiful views, deer, and dogs! Afterwards, we all went to Chuck E. Cheese, 2541-43 El Camino Real, Redwood City, for the first time for pizza and games. Maxim and Terran beat Deadstorm Pirates. That evening Lianna went to see "Jersey Boys" with the Palo Alto Players, and has now seen all Tony Award Winning Best Musicals since 2001.

Week 290: Sunday, April 13th, our first time at Old Mission San Juan Bautista, 406 2nd St, San Juan Bautista, for Palm Sunday! We had a lovely time exploring the Mission Museum, listening to songs during mass, and playing near the San Andreas Fault Walk (no ladies plummeting to their deaths from towers). Afterwards we got brunch from Vertigo Coffee Roasters, 81 4th St, and then went on to Pinnacles National Park West Gate. That night we watched Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo.

Week 289: Saturday, April 12th, our first time at Pinnacles National Park! We started at the East Gate and had a great time exploring the Bear Gulch Nature Center and Bear Gulch Caves, picnicing by the Reservoir, and appreciating the heights from the Rim Trail! Some cool birds, but no California Condor spottings. That evening we ate dinner at Jardines de San Juan Restaurant, 115 Third St, San Juan Bautista, got ice cream at Margot's Ice Cream Parlor, 211 Third St, and spent the night at Hacienda de Léal Hotel, 410 The Alameda. That night we watched the movie, Project Nim.
The next day we explored the park's West side including the Balconies Trail and Balconies Caves...and we had to walk by a rattlesnake!

Week 287: Saturday, April 5th, our first time playing in the Tanner Fountain on the Stanford Campus, Jane Stanford Way. That morning Andrei and Lianna had a brunch date at Nola, 535 Ramona St, Palo Alto, and everyone got to play at the Rinconada Park Playground. That evening we watched Moana 2. 🌊

Week 286: Saturday, March 29th, our first time at Central Park, 909 Kiely Blvd, Santa Clara, and Santa Clara's Magical Bridge Playground. We had a picnic lunch from Erik's DeliCafé, 830 Kiely Blvd, and saw some Miyazaki characters at a Sencha Cosplay meet-up in the park. We also got a new Subaru Outback from Stevens Creek Subaru, 3225 Stevens Creek Blvd, San Jose. That evening we watched Kiki's Delivery Service.

Week 285: Sunday, March 16th, Happy (almost) St. Patrick's Day ☘️ ! We celebrated by hiking the green hills of Coyote Hills Regional Park, 8000 Patterson Ranch Rd, Fremont. First we saw a presentation from a naturalist on St. Patrick's Snakes, then Maxim got to pet a King snake. Afterwards we explored the Nectar Garden and climbed Glider Hill for incredible views! Later, Terran went Lily's birthday party and got to pet bunnies!

Week 284: Sunday, March 9th, our first time going rock climbing at the Stanford Climbing Wall at the Arrillaga Outdoor Education and Recreation Center, 285 Santa Teresa St, Stanford. Afterwards we got frozen yogurt from Pinkberry and played at the Stanford West Playground. Time flies! That evening we watched the movie Flow 🐈⬛ with Catastrophe.

Week 282: Sunday, February 23rd, our first time at Castle Rock State Park, 15451 CA-35, Los Gatos. We had a great time climbing around Castle Rock and hiking to the Castle Rock Waterfall! On the way home we stopped at Kandoo Cafe, 14510 Big Basin Wy #8, Saratoga, for some yummy Persian flower baklava and other treats. 🐝 That evening we watched Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl.
