Magic system basics!!

Hello and welcome everyone! It seems the algorithm has finally picked up my posts.

Today, we’ll be briefly discussing the fundamentals of my magic system. It’s not the most complex thing in the world, but at the stage of writing I’m in, it doesn’t need to be.

There are two sides to the magic system; one is quick, with minimal training. It’s considered high risk - high reward, due to its destructive capability, including the recoil damage that can be done to the host.

The second takes much a much longer time to learn and is generally much more stable, however is naturally less powerful than the first unless a host has specialised in a specific element for decades.

Each is harnessed in seperate ways, depending on the religious beliefs, moral beliefs, and values of the communities.

For now, these are the basics, however I will go more in depth on future posts. That being said, have a good day/night everyone, and happy writing!
