"Winged Hero"
This is one of my earliest digital pieces. The piece was based on the character Hawks from My Hero Academia. I wanted to create a serious work that showcased his bright vermillion wings. The most important detail I painstakingly worked on was to give his wings a bright glow. I'd like to thank YouTube tutorials for teaching me the layering and techniques needed to create the 2D glow. I used my newly bought drawing tablet and the software fire alpaca to create "Winged Hero"

"Set in Stone"
Set in Stone was created to test my skills and see if I could handle a more complicated graphite, sculpture drawing. The picture I took for reference was of a statue I saw at a museum up north. I remember taking it thinking that one day I would like to draw her. While this was mainly for a skill test it was also for a class deadline. "Set in Stone" was drawn and shaded in a little over a week.

"Persephone"
This is the graphite version of "Persephone" that I completed for an assignment a year before I decided to use her for a painting reference.

“Trapped in Time”
The reference for this drawing is an old abandoned mill up north that my art teacher had taken various pictures of. With her permission, I used them to create this piece. I focused mainly on the one-point perspective of the mill; I wanted it all to go into one point: the man.

"Decisions, Decisions, Decisions"
This piece was born out of my frustration with the amount of college junk mail I received. Colleges I have never even heard of were reaching out to me sending pounds of paper that could have been used for something more useful. I turned the junk mail into one of my favorite pieces to ease my conscience. I used modged podge to secure the scraps to a canvas and painted them with water-downed acrylic paint to add depth. To represent my struggle with making a college decision decided to add myself into the college. This piece represents all the frustrations and stress that high school seniors go through trying to figure out their next steps.

"Scythe"
Another piece that was created for my junior year design class. The instructions were to redesign a book cover and format the design to print. The book Scythe is based on a fictional world where people don't die naturally, reapers have to do that manually. I used red as the primary color since the book revolves around death. The design is rather simple as that is my personal style.

"Blood for the Blood god"
"Blood for the Blood god" was heavily inspired by the design and flow of tarot cards. The linocut is a depiction of the character Technoblade in DSMP. I wanted to tie in all the whimsical elements of the character while still maintaining balance. While I created this before the news of his passing I still like to think of it as my own personal tribute to the beloved YouTuber.

"Stick Season"
This design was inspired by illustrated kids' books. My initial idea was to recreate an album cover as a kids' book, while brainstorming I came up with many different variations and albums but Stick Season was my favorite. "Stick Season" was illustrated on Krita over a week. I wanted it to have the same color palette as the original album so I pulled some colors from Stick Seasons' original cover. After adding the base colors I went back in and added small squiggles of detail to add to the childlike feel.

"Lunar Tea Parlor"
For a graphic design class, my professor tasked us with creating a restaurant and logo. I decided early on that I wanted to create a tea parlor. I took inspiration from another design I had seen where the sun acted as the bowl for noodles. I drafted various versions of the moon holding the tea, but this is the one that felt right. The color scheme I chose is meant to be peaceful and calming for customers. Since it was a vector graphics class, I created the design in Adobe Illustrator.

"Persephone"
This painting is dear to me as I had been dreaming about it for months before I completed it. I have always been fascinated by Greek mythology, so I wanted to paint my version of Persephone, the goddess of spring. I used many different references that I pieced together to create her. I purposefully made her skin tone almost ghostly since she is the Queen of the Underworld. The painting also has bits of gold paint blended into her skin tone to give her a more ethereal aura.

"Inferno"
This is one of my earlier linocuts. The inspiration for the piece comes from fantasy novel illustrations. I chose colors that are bold to fit the boldness of the dragon. The dragon is blue and orange to create a strong contrast and allow the colors not to overpower each other.

"Moonlight"
To expand my skills, I began experimenting with other mediums. I wanted to print a Victorian house and decided that nighttime would be the best background. Haunted is one of the more complicated linocuts I have done. The many layers of colors made the print process lengthy.

"The Stone Lady"
This is my first serious portrait drawing. For months, I focused on portrait skills to prepare for this piece. My art teacher had taken the reference picture of the sculpture at one of her art shows and permitted me to have it as my reference. I used graphite pencils and a kneaded eraser to meticulously highlight and contour the sculpture's features. This portrait took me over a month to complete.
