This trend of female A list celebrities wearing basically nothing will literally be the end of me like why? And it looks so uncomfortable and awkward i genuinely don't get it and if u criticize it u get called a puritan and a conservative like how come males don't dress like that why don't henry cavill and chris evans wear similar attire it sounds silly doesn't it well then why can't the same be applied 2 women it's sickening
literally the only difference between men and women is their body, that’s it. how did society forget this overnight. it’s incredibly sexist to claim women and men have any other difference, because that would imply sexism is a consequence of this mystical ‘other difference’ instead of men wanting to control our reproductive abilities. i’ve lost all sympathy for anyone who isn’t gender critical, i feel like you’re telling i deserve sexism because i have some female essence or something similar. no i have a female body, that’s why i experience sexism and no i don’t deserve it and no i can’t opt out of it.
Cannot get over how humiliating women's fashion on red carpets is, and the handmaiden behaviour from these Hollywood-cult women who should know better. Margot Robbie, the producer of a billion dollar movie, one of the highest-earning people in Hollywood last year, who attended the awards as a producer (rather than actress), wearing basically pant-less tight corset to the red carpet. She's basically in underwear, in front of millions of people from all around the world. Such humiliating behavior. Can you imagine a single male producer dressing in anything except a suit?
we asked girls what they think about since boys think about the roman empire, girl dinner, girl math, girl logic, let me explain world events to girls using shopping and boys as metaphors, not wearing makeup makes u a pick me, being butch somehow also makes u a pick me, so does being fat or ugly, hot girls read, hey if ur struggling financially or ur almost 18 and dont know what to do with ur life let me tell u how much money i made as a stripper doesnt that sound so much more fun than an office job, preventative botox, chemical peels that burn off the first three layers of ur skin, teen girls with 20 step skincare routines, a day in my life as a stay at home girlfriend, bimbocore, and this is all feminist actually do u want to kill urself yet
I don’t want to focus on trying to make men more benevolent and care more about women, I want to get women out of situations where they have to rely on the benevolence of men in order to live, and I want to get men who don’t believe in the humanity of women out of positions where they get to decide anything about women, and stop letting men benefit from the exploitation of women. You wouldn’t say “We need to teach the rich to care about the poor”
It always needs to be said; we shouldn't look up to men. They don't actually know better, they just stole a better seat at the table.
Now a jump to body positivity again; have you ever seen men writing poems about their penises? Have you ever seen them talk endearingly of their genitals, romanticising them, making them cutesy and all?
They are usually gross (and gross) but that's another story or another indicator of their privilege. It's not that they don't do d** worship (they really do) but why they don't do this cutesy stuff around their d** is because it doesn't signal power in any way. In fact, it signals ridiculous - you can try glorifying that ridiculous thing as much as you want but in a world that devalues it, you can just look more ridiculous. There's no such thing as pussy power, there are just men making jackasses out of us. They won't respect us no matter what we do simply because we are women, and we don't need to imitate their displays of power for each other if we are trying to dismantle it.
Therefore you can sleep peacefully at night: a lot of women actually find this stupid, they just don't want to offend other women who like this and believe this to be a pushback against male dominance.
She did this because of societies view that women who have big breasts are supposed to cover up more, that they're somehow more promiscuous, and the idea that if you have a big chest it's your fault if people harrass/abuse you over it. I'm so fucking tired man. There is a whole wave of women online who are getting these surgeries and I want to know what the ramifications are going to be in 10 years.
The right downplays misogyny from boys as "boys being boys 😏"
The left downplays misogyny from boys as "it's the toxic masculinity 🥺"
In both scenarios boys aren't directly held accountable for their actions and the women + girls they abuse are seen as passive objects for male character development.
I'm not going to articulate this well today but is anyone else creeped out by the language shift from 'being in danger' to 'feeling unsafe'? The fact that danger is slowly becoming a feeling that YOU feel rather than a material reality imposed on you by someone else, except it's not even danger, it's just a lack of safety, I don't know, I'm very suspicious of it.
So now when we talk about safety it's about your subjective feelings, something completely intangible and seemingly unconnected to anything around you, rather than literally not being threatened. I feel like this is deliberate and we shouldn't buy into it.
Guys i don't think all the pedophiles and rapists and murderers who commit suicide right before having to face legal and social consequences for their crimes should be counted into the "horrifying male suicide rate" and i don't really think it points to a men's mental health crisis either but you know
Imagine being a fucking neurosurgeon and STILL doing the majority of the childcare and housework💀
I don’t wanna hear any more about how “straight, cis, white” women are pampered princesses, even in the highest tax brackets she’s still working like a dog 🙄
I feel no sympathy when a female athlete competes against a ma’am and complains when they lose.
Like… homie… you voluntarily agreed to compete against a 6’5 dude in a wig. What did you think was going to happen? Why didn’t you say anything beforehand?
