~Claira’s Poem~
The world shut out from me
Living a life of pain
Hated and tortured for being what I was
Not knowing I was destined for more
Now I am here
Freed by someone like me
Even after everything I still don’t know what I am
Some refer to me as a monster
Others as ‘our only hope’
Good and evil
Light and darkness
Order and destruction
Life and death
I am the balance
I see a million faces
Whether by day or by night
Visions or memories I am not always certain
Hiding in the shadows, far from other’s view I watch
Fearing that my discovery will be the end of them all
Fearing what I could become
All while not really knowing my full potential
The power within me could bring pain I do not wish to bear
Tormented by my own past
I strive on to do what is right
Even now I still don’t know what I am
Some refer to me as a monster
Others as ‘our only hope’
Good and evil
Light and darkness
Order and destruction
Life and death
I am the balance
Very few have been able to understand what I go through daily
Most say ‘the world doesn’t rest on your shoulders’ but they don’t know the responsibility I must tend to
I see evil all around me no matter where I go
My own will slipping from me
Knowing I can’t save them all
Repentance is the only thing that can save them now
How long can you keep this up?
How far are you willing to go?
You can’t protect them all
Why bother trying, when you could just rule it all?
You and I are one in the same, both destined for disaster
Just come with me and you will see
All of the thrilling bloodshed we could bring on these worlds together

I’ve been told a lot of things, and even to this day I still sometimes wonder why I was given this purpose

Multiverse Traveler’s Duties
(Changed in modern times)
Protecting core worlds from destruction/massive change for the worst
Keeping peace in every dimension if possible
Training in as many techniques in other dimensions as possible to become well rounded for all possible threats
Removing and relocating entities or objects that do not belong in a certain dimension
Forming alliances with every dimension’s strongest fighters (optional. befriending is not prohibited, but strongly advised against)

Enchanted forests
If an Element Wielder stays in one area for too long, the magic they emit from their bodies purifies the environment and causes plants to grow at a faster rate, causing everything within 25 mile radius or more regardless of its previous condition to be reborn into a lush landscape with highly magical properties.
These landscapes are typically wooded, hence the name, but unlike normal forests, the shade the trees offer doesn’t stop enormous, bright colored flowers from blooming, and the conditions in these forests are so rich in life that even crystals can sprout from the ground. As for life, fairies and other creatures similar to them typically live in places like this, but Element Wielders are not responsible for creating them.
These forests can be found in any dimension, and all forests differ from one another in some ways at least. Some change during seasons while others look the same regardless of what the temperature is. In some, even the temperature inside the forest stays the same year round.
One of the most peculiar traits to these forests however, is what is reborn in the forest if the Element Wielder who had created dies inside its forest walls. When the Element Wielder dies, their body becomes a giant tree with bark that resembles the colors of their Order and Magic Elements, the Earth Element always being the leaves. But the most interesting part to this is that after the Element Wielder’s passing, from the enchanted forest they created emerges elemental spirits, who typically serve as the forest’s guardians in place of the Element Wielder. No one knows why this occurs, but this is a very rare scenario. Very few elemental spirits have been seen in the dimensions of earth.

Ikrystalu characteristics
Vocal abilities An Ikrystalu’s native language mostly consists of humming and clicks. They have a very wide vocal range and can mimic just about any sound, though premies have a harder time with this ability.
While this very shy and illusive species prefers to be quieter due to their sharp hearing, their roars can be heard from miles on end.
Physical appearance/characteristics
These dragons are on the larger side compared to other WereCreature species. They are noted for being sleek and muscular, with sharp scales that start with top of their head all the way down to near the tip of the tail.
These scales only cover the top of their heads and their spines, the rest of their bodies are covered in thick yet short fur. Stripes change color depending on mood. Ikrystalus are almost always born with a variety of highly saturated colors. Unlike most WereCreatures, Ikrystalus are so in tune to their own emotions that any drastic change to their belief system or emotional status with cause them to change into completely different colors than what they were born with. This ability is more of a curse than a blessing however, since an entire color palette change like this normally results from an intense amount of emotional or physical trauma, or even both at once. It causes long term weakness in magic abilities for Element Wielders, faster aging, and the ability to change the colors of their stripes for a Ikrystalu who underwent this change will no longer be possible. The new color change will be a bit duller than the previous palette, and not as many colors.
Feathers are found on and around their heads, lining their wings and smaller dorsal fins, and at the tips of their tails. These feathers often distinguish what gender and abilities the dragon has, especially if they are an Element Bender.
Wings are very large and powerful, capable of long distance travels but weaker in constant hovering. They are one of the fastest fliers of all WereDragon breeds.
Magic Abilities
This species has 3 natural abilities that every member is born with: fire breathing, powerful hearing and flight.
Unlike most species of WereCreature, Element Benders were fairly common in this race. They had a good amount of Psychic and Dark Wielders as well, and were also the first to travel the multiverses of Earth.
Ikrystalu Body language (more to come)
Touching foreheads: common greeting. Translates to “nice to meet you” or “nice to see you again”.
Nuzzling, purring: affectionate greeting. Typically exchanged by close friends or romantic partners. Translates to “I love/trust you”.
Ears perked: alert, curious. Open to new opportunities.
Ears pinned, snarling: angry, agitated. Ready to attack/defend. Wont normally listen to reason.
Tail thumping against a surface: happens when they are irritated. Translates to “don’t come near. Final warning.”
Tail flicking back and forth: varies. Because this is an involuntary movement, this doesn’t always mean something. Usually, one can tell by facial expressions or how fast the tail is moving to translate how the WereDragon is feeling. Usually translates to irritation or wariness.
Head bowed/avoiding eye contact: this gesture is displaying a lot of respect for a person. Translates to “deeming worthy of honor”. Is often used for someone who is very powerful, whether magically or politically.
All fours, tail flicking back and fourth, ears perked, wings folded against body: alert position. All senses on high alert and very wary/untrusting of their environment. Frequent head and ear movements, wings folded to lessen drag if they need to run.

Claira’s personality traits Shy, illusive. Almost prefers not being noticed, but not always. Naturally quiet when she moves and is a bit of a selective mute.
Docile at nature. Has a strong dislike towards humans, but won’t needlessly attack them.
Has really, really bad trusting issues thanks to her past and instinctively lashes out at anyone (human or not) if they try to be kind to her because of it. This is because the last few times someone had been kind to her, they either betrayed her later or died for being genuine. So she instinctively tries to make herself unlikeable in the very least to avoid feeling that pain again.
Can’t handle affection. She’s a lot more used to pain than anything else, so even a kind word is enough to throw her off guard.
Despite her shyness towards affection, she will develop fierce loyalty to anyone who is genuinely kind to her in time.
Always ready to defend anyone she befriended, but if they are truly in the wrong she won’t be afraid to say so.
Has a mischievous side, but it rarely shows due to a strong lack of confidence. Sometimes it breaks through when she is using certain Elemental Forms though.
Has a strong sense of justice but will listen to reason. She is willing to give anyone a second chance. But If you are a truly evil person and you’re just trying to buy time, good luck trying to convince her that you can change.
Very curious. This often gets her into trouble.
Has a strong love of learning. She’s always looking for new places to see, new skills and techniques to learn. She has here preferences though, and will visit any dimension she makes a second home in often.
Strategic battler, but hates conflict and only fights if provoked. If challenged to a fight (one that she knows she can easily win), she would rather discuss things rationally before attacking, but this should never be seen as weakness. She can, and will, beat you into last year if she sees fit.
Has a fiery temper, but normally won’t be outright aggressive unless she is in a weakened state. She’s more on the passive aggressive side, and will often find subtle ways to get her aggression out. But that’s not always the case.
Like all WereCreatures, she has a frenzy instinct that blocks out all rational thinking. Thankfully she learned to control this at a fairly early age, but that doesn’t mean that it’s gone. It tends to come out when she is backed into a corner with no possible means for an escape. Tread lightly if that’s the case.
Claira’s main weapon: double-edged staff blade (idk what to call it)
Side weapons: sickles, throwing blades
Aventurine’s Personality Traits
Very, very social. Likes his alone time, but prefers being in the company of friends and family.
Charming, mischievous. Thoroughly enjoys messing with people/making them laugh. He often is looking for ways to get people to react to anything he does, and often gets disappointed if they don’t respond to his antics. Has too much pride to admit it though.
A little shy at first when meeting strangers, but willing to trust them. Would probably be the first to shake your hand.
Loves to talk, but is also fairly quiet at times. Is known for rambling.
Very sensitive to emotions and is a very skilled telepath. Rarely oblivious. Can often tell just by body language what someone needs or wants, especially if it’s someone he knows very well.
Has a very gentle nature, despite his bravado. Commits to caring for even the smallest of things.
Doesn’t care for fighting much. Would rather teach skills he learned to someone else rather than training to get stronger.
Is a well-seasoned warrior, trained in the finest techniques of his time. Not as strategic as Claira and tends to not think much before he makes a move.
Rarely gets angry, but has a raging temper that is only typically triggered when anyone he loves is in danger. Fights head-on with brutal force; it is advised that you tread lightly if you were unlucky enough to provoke him.
Is neutral towards humans due to his past, unlike Claira. Will not want to outright harm them unless harmed first, and even then he probably still won’t.
Has a frenzy instinct as well, but he is very in control of it due to his training in the past. Is much less likely to go feral, but might if he’s pushed over the edge.
Aventurine’s main weapon: trident

Beginning of time

Psychic Wielders with multiverse sight/travel are appointed as Multiverse Guardians by WereCreature monarchs and set out to keep peace throughout all dimensions

Aventurine is born
A large portion of the upper ring of the multiverse is destroyed by a Psychic Wielder who lost control of their powers; humans begin to distrust WereCreatures
Humans abuse the gifts WereCreatures had given them to travel across the multiverse by joining sides with inter dimensional races
Most WereCreatures fought back in retaliation; but some still tried to keep peace
Aventurine breaks a bond and is sent to The Space
Mass genocide of WereCreatures begins
-present day-
WereCreatures are now extremely rare, any still alive were to be hunted down and killed
an Ikrystalu (WereDragon) named Sapphire, one of the last of the WereCreatures left, is discovered by Dr. Drake Malcony, an extremely intelligent human scientist who was cursed with distorted prophecy by a WereDragon in the past
fueled by rage and vengeance against all WereCreatures on a very personal matter, he was determined to use Sapphire against her own kind. He knew that she possessed a lot more potential than most WereCreatures, because she was the multiverse’s new guardian. He was determined to use her to gain dominance over every dimension on Earth.
Aventurine discovers the tragedy of his kind and home At 18 years old
Malcony hires over 100 very skilled scientists and biologists (one of which was secretly a spy named Micheal Connway) to help him in his plan to extract Sapphire’s energy without killing her, since killing her would cause the energy they would extract would disappear with Sapphire
Connway attempted to save Sapphire from this horrible life, but was discovered and killed by extensive electric shocks; the only thing he could give Sapphire was the name Claira, since no one knew her birthright name at the time (the documents were destroyed, along with every WereCreature palace or village)
Claira suffered 1-10 years of being experimented on. They extracted her powers and used them to power machines that were to aid in the invasion of other dimensions. Towards her 10th birthday, Malcony discovers that her blood was so high in magic properties that, if recalibrated by very advanced machinery, could be made into a serum that completely stops human aging and promotes unlimited life, regardless of injury.
10: Aventurine picks up on Claira’s life force after years of preserving his body in The Space and rescues/heals her from most of the damage she had received
10: Claira befriends and trains with Aventurine over the time space of one year; masters her Water and Earth Forms
