For some reason tumblr doesn't let me reply to any comments, so @bi-numi-aliyani I hope you don't mind if I answer to you as a post!
First of all, I think I need to mention that I'm not any kind of professional at this! It was my first time trying this method. Basically, the thing I've learned out of my drawing on a rock experience is that you can draw with any materials you have as long as you know how to draw. I wouldn't call myself the most genius artist ever, I only know some basic stuff and have a desire to create something of my own. So I don't see it as anything incredible honesty, you can do it yourself, as long as you have a big rock and a few tiny pebbles of different colors. The only thing I can recommend is to do it on the seashore, as I did, because you'll be able to find there all kinds of different pebbles that will fit perfectly for this activity. And also a wet stick, that you can use as an eraser.
So I deeply encourage you to try it for yourself, it's always good to try something new in your life 🫶

I came to the seaside first time in a long while just to say hi to Poseidon, does it count as an offering?
Though I'm actually curious, what can I give him as an offering... I want to throw something into sea, but I don't know what exactly is going to fit and not ruin the environment along the way...

Call me crazy but I think I felt Apollo's presence at my therapy session today. Like he was near and patting the back of my head?? And it was right at the moment when I was doing some sort of meditation practice with the guidance of my psychologist.
Anyway I love Apollo

I'd like to talk a little about my experience with the Gods, that's been happening recently
I haven't posted anything lately, because I was very busy with moving from my hometown to the opposite part of the country (I live in Russia, so it's a long way and a lot of stress for me) Of course, while I was moving I've been constantly keeping Hermes on my mind, just to reassure myself. But as I was getting used to the new town and new apartment I didn't have many opportunities to pray to the gods or lighting candles... it almost felt like my bond with them was weakening, even though I know it's okay to take breaks sometimes and let myself rest and do the staff I need to do. I got a new job (I'm a librarian now!), new apartment, everything is new.
And finally, after two months, I felt like I have enough strength to get back into practice. I was extremely nervous, but I bought a new candle for Hermes, Apollo and Artemis (they share one candle with two candlewicks that are burning the different ways, and the burning is similar to the characters of the Gods! I was so fascinated when I saw that), and one for Hades (his candlewick is kinda weird, it doesn't want to burn the right way)
So! I started dedicating more devotional acts to the gods and making them offerings! And what I think is amazing is that the gods started to reply! One day I crocheted a sun for Apollo and asked him for protection and then for the next two day the sun was BURNING, it was really bright and warm, even though the weather was quite cold and moody before. It felt like he was telling me "It's okay, child, I'm here" 🥺☀
The second thing that happened was small, but is worth mentioning still. I bought a handmade turtle for Hermes, which I always wanted to do and that turtle was extremely cute. I didn't have much money, but I still did it just because I really wanted to make him a nice offering. And on the next day a found a coin of two rubles on the way to my job! I'm keeping a jar of coins on Hermes's altar, so I put it there, but still the fact that I've found it right after I made an offering couldn't feel less than a message from him. He's my favorite god, so I always keep him in mind and talk to him, and it's always so sweet to get something in return, hehe...
And last, but the most important thing to me. I made an offering to Lady Artemis on Mounichia, asking her to protect me from men, because I have that anxiety about getting into any sort of unpleasant relationships with them. Recently I had two men that were trying to get close with me, they didn't seem dangerous or anything, but I couldn't feel comfortable talking to them, it was kinda rubbing me the wrong way whenever we had conversations. And right after I asked Artemis to help, they stopped texting me, one of them even deleted our dialogue. I'm so grateful to Lady Artemis for that, really, that was such a big relief.
In conclusion, I want to say that I absolutely love the dieties and hope I will be able to bond with them more, I thank them for everything🫶✨

I put my candle for Hades into a wineglass and it has melted so beautifully, it feels like a pomegranate wine to me now, I hope Lord Hades likes it that way🤭💜

Yeah basically that's how I saw him in my head when he randomly decided to say hi to me yesterday lol

Is it considered as an act of devotion when I just randomly decide to draw the way he feels to me? Anyway... I literally had a vision haha

A funny thing happened to me today.
I'm new to the hellenism and I'm still only trying to build up my relationship with the gods, and until now I've only been using dices because it felt like the easiest way (although I'm still not sure of how accurate it is and if Hermes is actually talking to me or I'm just naive and silly), but tonight I decided why not try to work with a pendulum (a necklace in my case, don't have an actual pendulum, but I hope it's fine for the beginning) And what would you think... I started as I thought trying to get a message from Hermes, but turned out The King Hades Himself decided to have a chat with me instead??? I was so shocked and yet so happy at the same time, like hey hello I love you Hades but genuinely WHY... If there are any helpol enthusiasts who would explain me why would the King of the Underworld reach out to me I'd be quite grateful hahaha...
I mean I have my theories about it being somehow connected to my mental health that is... kinda all over the place, and also I suppose it definitely has to do something with how many times I said Hades during the last few months... (Just before I got into hellenism I was reading a book with the retalling of the Hades and Persephone myth and I was obsessed with the way Hades was written in that book... so I guess he might have heard me saying his name so many times lol)
