The only thing that worked at first were their faces :'D Figuring out the bodies was way harder since i didn't find a reference that fit what i wanted.

Eddie looked way too chill for my liking in this i wanted him to have a little more "wonder" in his eyes.

First flat colors. I guess it's becoming a theme for me to put them in soft pink and blue colors but like!! it fits them!!

Top 5 creators or artists you wish got more love?

Why hello and thank you for this lovely ask :)))

Since I'm basically only in RWRB fandom atm, let's go with artist that draw the loveliest firstprince art and should get more love (and notes) than they currently do.

okay but there is something disquieting about this urge to cast fan writers as altruists. they give us all this for free!! well, no.

it’s a key difference in perception. fic isn’t given. it’s shared. it’s part of a fandom community— in which readers are also an integral part.

it’s probably inevitable mission creep from the increasingly transactional nature of the internet and fandom-as-consumerism, which was always gonna happen after corps worked out how much bank there is to make from those weirdo fan people

but like. fandom is sharing. i think we’ve lost that somewhere.

and actually if you are making people being upset about eddie's absence about like some sort of ship win then fundamentally you are misunderstanding why people are so upset. like, it's INSANE that eddie wasn't there. from just, a general point of view. the fact that a main character of SEVEN YEARS was left out. was not there with his family of SEVEN YEARS when someone deeply important to him died* is crazy and unjustifiable. like, it wasn't egregious because of the buck of it all. it was the fact that eddie should have been there with his family. i literally couldn't give a fuck if tommy was also there. whatever. but including him and not including eddie in a 118 main character death. eddie for whom the 118 is literally his family. who has worked with and loved and supported and been supported by and almost died with these people over and over for the past SEVEN YEARS. that's simply a terrible and absolutely unnecessary choice. and people are justified in being upset by that.

i’m going to hold your hands when i say this and i am only going to be kind about it once: ai does not belong in fandom spaces, ever. not in writing, not in art, not in video, not at all. it does not matter how bad you want to see your favourite characters kiss, or how much you need a bit of help finishing a chapter, or whatever.

make friends with artists. commission somebody. learn to draw yourself. ask for a beta read. try a writing partnership. fandom spaces are communities, so engage with them! it is about the journey and the fact that we all love something enough to create and build together about that thing.

spending 30 seconds to kill a tree and get an AI to push out some soulless empty piece of “content” is antithetical to the entire point of being engaged with fandom, and if you’ve taken to doing this you should really reconsider if you belong in these spaces with the rest of us.
