cell bio professor closed out today's lecture on free-radical oxidation in mitochondria and programmed cell death by saying "you've probably all seen those commercials for fruit juice that says it's got antioxidants, which are said to prevent this sort of thing from happening, or at least slow it down. well, they don't work. this is an inevitable fact of life— this process that lets us live is also the thing that kills us, and it's why all of us will die someday. there's no escaping that. it's been with us since the dawn of eukaryotic cells; our pact with mitochondria is to the death. anyway, enjoy the rest of your friday, and remember, exam four is next week!"

After three months of labor-conducive love, my silkscreen book is complete!
Based off of the video game ANATOMY, it tells the story of what it really means to live in a haunted house
This game has some of the best writing and one of the most original ideas I’ve seen in a while, so please, take a look!

where's that post about having to handhold other fans to explain to them that a woman reminding them of their shitty female relative/teacher is not grounds for character analysis

Has deltarune asgore soured your opinion on undertale asgore in any way? Because I wouldn't say my opinion has changed much on him outside of thinking ut asgore would actually be more pushy than i previously thought but ut asgore is both a 'worse' and 'better' person than dr asgore is. Funny how the character who killed kids and led his people on with a suicide war is more likable than his -modern!flowershop! Au- counterpart
the opposite. if anything he's made me reflect on how well executed (lol) his character was for the little timeframe he had in undertale. the sobriety and gravity everything about his figure had, the subtle ways in which his grief and suicidal tendencies were displayed. how his cowardice was woven into his tragedy, the mirror he and alphys held up to one another, his mentor rapport with undyne and the massive influence he had on her. all for a character you only meet in the final moments of every route.
it truly is a matter of setting and tonal consistency. and undertale asgore has full marks in everything. and he's my least favourite of the main cast!

"came back wrong" this "lived wrong" that, what about dying wrong. my death will forever cling to you, leaving behind a slimy trail and a metallic taste in your mouth. my soul will forever drag you down like the heavy corpse of a long-dead god, who somehow still grants wishes. you can't tell which one of us is the one not letting go. you know not even your own death will end this.

true as fuck whenever people portray krusie like two straight bros constantly playing gay chicken even while neither of them are straight. why should straight guys get to corner the bromance market.

This might be old news to Kris scholars, but it just occurred to me that Toriel saying "Kris does this sometimes" probably refers specifically to them washing their hands for a long time (not just them disappearing from social situations/locking themselves away, as I originally thought).
I'm basing this on the fact that the chapter 4 egg room has the "you can never wash it all away" line, and how if you check the sink in Rudy's room he asks Kris if they're "practicing for tonight's handwashing marathon" implying it's a habit they're known for.
idk if I have a point here but the handwashing thing seems like something to watch.
huh yeah. they have some weird recurrent thing going on with hand washing specifically don't they. are they ok.
