Yue Qingyuan really had that one rescued street cat who bit and attacked literally everyone (including him) and Yue Qingyuan just really adored everything about him (including the feral nature) and grew to associate that attitude with his favorite creature ever to exist.

And all I’m saying is that if that was me and my cat one day got back from the vet and was suddenly sweet and kind to everyone (even with me but he didn’t want to pettily sleep on the bed just where I can’t reach to pet him anymore and obviously I am inconsolable about this) that I would be absolutely losing my mind and the vet would never know peace again because are they fucking sure this is my cat??? Because he didn’t even hiss at me when I called him by his beloved nickname which he hates???? The vet would block my fucking number just to get work done.

This is not a novel concept but the difference in Zoey's upbringing vs Rumi's and Mira's is so funny.

Like, Rumi was likely homeschooled and Mira either was also homeschooled or went to some fancy prep school. Zoey went to a public school that probably had roaches and questionable fountain water.

Rumi was raised for stardom. Mira grew up with a trust fund and credit card in her dad's name. Zoey probably worked at McDonald's for gas money. Fully has a customer service voice and an undying hatred for people that walk into restaurants right before close (Mira and Rumi used to do this without thinking about it and she does NOT let them anymore).

Zoey might be the only one of them that actually knows how to drive because the other two would've had people driving them everywhere for most if not all of their lives.

She's the only one with an actual concept of money. She'll be like "DAMN that's way overpriced for the amount of food you're getting" and Rumi and Mira are like "oh is (Korean equivalent of like 50 USD) a lot for this?"

She may also be the only one who knows how to manage chores. Like, maybe Celine had Rumi do chores to teach her the value of hard work, but maybe she skipped that in favor of more training. Mira absolutely had people for that. Zoey was doing dishes as soon as she was old enough to learn how. She probably feels weird about Huntr/x having people that they pay to clean their place for them every couple weeks because she was NOT raised to sit around while someone else does the chores. If her parents were doing chores she was always helping.

For a while she probably forgets that she just has crazy money now. She sees something she wants and she's like "hmmm, maybe I'll get it in a few months to make sure I REALLY want it and can justify the purchase better" and the girls are like "?????? But you want it today. Just get it. We could literally buy this entire store."

A lot of the time when I see people talk about aromanticism they bring up the way a lot of us tend to think that romance is just exaggerated in fiction and are surprised that people feel that way in real life and not just in the movies and that's honestly kind of funny, imagine just going about your life and one day finding out that most people's high school years were actually like disney channel and you're the exception

Just finished with Deltarune Chapter 4 and I 100% believe that the "ending" of the prophecy already happened. I'm not talking like time travel or anything, but the prophecy wasnt about Susie, Kris and Ralsei, it was Asriel and Dess.

I had a sneaking suspicion about it for a while, but chapter 4 really cemented it, with the repetition, the girl in the prophecy wielding a sword and not an axe, and specifically, Gerson says, in reference to Dragon Blazers, an adaptation of his Lord of the Hammer, which itself was an adaptation of the prophecy, that fans were upset that the story had changed, but he believed it was better to see something new, something that could be more than the original. He calls out that Susie wields the pen of hope, which Susie denies, Kris has the pen, she has a brush. She is not the sword-wielder. They are not the correct cycle.

The song Lost Girl is also interesting, as while it is clearly referencing Dess, it's not just used in scenes with Noelle. It's used in a lot of sad or depressing scenes. Ralsei's room scene uses Lost Girl for instance. Why would this happen? Because Dess is haunting the narrative. It's very clear from the prophecy that the girl seemingly dies, or worse, which is why Ralsei is desperate to keep Susie from seeing it. But Susie wont die. Dess is already lost. And she's following Kris. After Susie reads the prophecy and leaves, if you return to where you just beat the titan, an inaudible sound file plays, and blocks you from going back, saying another hand obscurred from your view blocks you. When you raise the volume, it's Dess's guitar playing.

We know something traumatic happened in Kris's past. The Man Behind the Tree continuously clues into it, whether it be about how they wont be remembered when they leave, or recreating art therapy for Kris, it's showing that Kris saw something that permanently scarred them. Noelle says that as kids, Kris would pretend to rip out their heart and chase her with it. Noelle also says that Kris only started acting strangely recently. They didnt have the soul as a kid, they only became it's vessel recently. They saw someone else inhabited by the soul, and ripping it out.

Someone had to make the dark fountains before Kris and Susie. Ramb turns to stone in the TV world. But he was stolen from the library years and years ago. Someone had to have made him in a library dark world before bringing him to the Dremurr's house.

Throughout Deltarune, we see Kris both work with and against the Soul. As if they're in an uneasy partnership. I believe that Kris distrusts the soul because they saw what happened to Dess, and how they became the Roaring Knight. But they're using the soul to try to break back through to Dess, to bring her back.

After all, in chapter 4, you see how the Dark World could raise the dead.

This was news from thee newscast here (Tagesschau) so the article is only in German but here my favourite parts:

- for a long time the only reason they knew the worm existed were the traces it left on the corals it ate, no one ever saw it

- until one day they found a one point five metre long part of the worm that was still wiggling

- only the part was missing the head, and the corals continued to be eaten, so apparently the worm just got rid of its bum and continued on like normal

- DNA tests of the bum could not determine its species, only that it is in some way related to the bobbit worm (also called eunice aphroditois), so this might be an entirely new species

- the worm is called 'Phantom'

- they installed cameras for four days, but didn't manage to capture the worm, after removing the cameras the worm continued eating the corals - right where the cameras had been

- the guy who positioned the camera said to that 'Lots of material, sadly extremly little worm, as in neither a long nor the short worm. We haven't seen anything.'

- now they have installed a camera again and a popular german news channel is streaming the whole night so that everyone can search for Phantom:

Getting off the depressing state of the Internet for a moment to center myself. I had a few miscellaneous headcanons for Deltarune I can’t make any long posts about individually.

Hometown is in Massachusetts. Theirs a brief news segment you can miss while Susie is flipping through channels and the geography looks very similar to a map of Massachusetts.

Susie is from Boston. Susie is not from Hometown and apparently moved around a lot. I get the impression she’s a city girl and following the logic of the first headcanon I like to think she’s from the Big City of the state.

Spamton is Japanese, I will not explain further

Carol is an Old School Weeb. She’s not exactly into Anime but she loves Japanese weaponry and culture. Probably has a suit of Samurai armor in her office in City Hall

Asgore’s love of classic Western Shows and Movies is what motivated him into becoming a Police Chief and why he greets people with a “Howdy”

Dess was the original Susie and was the black sheep of Hometown. Her circle of friends was small but tight

Rudy is the source of the Holiday’s wealth not Carol, it’s just that she’s the responsible one with Finances. They say 90% of a Wealthy Families money disappears by the second generation and she was the reason it didn’t happen to him.

Thanks to his upbringing in a very religious family Asriel has some Hank Hill energy when it comes to girls and the only reason he didn’t go full Hank Hill was because Dess was there to loosen him up.

Krismas is legitimately Kris’ full name and it was Carol who came up with the name because Asgore and Toriel couldn’t manage a repeat of how they came up with Asriel’s name.
