I think Regis was the kind of person who only really TRULY ever loved once. Once his wife passed that was it for him, I think from the moment he met her he devoted his entire being to caring and showering aulea with love and affection.

Childhood friends to lovers goes crazy!!!!!! Like 10000% was probably like 9 telling her that he was going to marry her. I think they just naturally grew up together, but I don’t really ever feel like Regis was interested in dating? I’m sure he had to entertain the idea for political reasons, but in my head I just see him being very upfront with the prospective partner with a “I’m afraid my heart belongs to someone else” — he’s just a wife guy

she absolutely doesn’t join up with neo providence, she’s allotted far more funding on her own grounds. And travels to instruct others of what she knows to share it and help this shit from never happening again

She stays in contact with Rex at all times, that’s her son boy, she loves him more than anything, and would kill someone to protect him even years later

she supports him in whatever he’s up to, and will meme with him

#HC ( when i'm falling i'm at peace ) #the MD came later on while working at providence because of six and rex being extremely prone to just run heading into shit #prior to that she just had her research in scientific fields #I also think her studies of nanites are like.... insane she’s so fucking smart #BUT during the original six years after they found and took Rex in is when I think she started studying for it

i should also say HOLIDAY has a plethora of degrees the 3 PhD’s , at least 2 other Masters degrees, and she’s also an MD

I DO age her up a bit, she’s in her early to mid 40′s towards the end of genrex,  but her degrees are in:  BioChem, Genetics, and Molecular Biology.  She is also a studied Historian, and Geologist in her free time. 

THOUGH her favorite things are marine life, obsessed with fish
