 BENEFITS OF EXERCISE
Why is exercise important especially for older people? Because exercise has more benefits than you can imagine. Exercising regularly can reduce stress, improve the strength of your heart and virtually you can improve the strength of your body. Getting your heart rate up and challenging your body will increase your confidence and increase your physical and mental health. Physical activities can help you to maintain healthy blood pressure, help to maintain blood sugar level, strengthen your bones and reduce depression by balancing your hormonal level. And also regular exercise can improve your sex life and lead to a better quality of sleep. Regular exercise will help you live longer.
In INDIA almost 67% of people say they don't exercise. Only 37% of people exercise and they lead a better life forward. Many Indians are hesitant to move because they are unfamiliar with exercises and its benefits. The further study revealed that most of them don't exercise because going to the gym working out is more expensive nowaday and they are too lazy to exercise at home. Doing a small workout also has benefits as well. A person can begin to experience the benefits of regular exercise right away.Though CDC recommended that adults do exercise 150 minutes of a week at least moderate intensity exercise.
What are the benefits of exercise?
1) Improve your cardiovascular strength.
The health of your heart and vessels are important in your life. Because your life depends on it. Regular exercise is good for the health of your heart. Regular exercise can improve cholesterol level, keep a healthy blood pressure and reduce the risk of stroke and keep you out of other diseases. Healthy heart leads to a healthy life. You are never too old or too young to take care of your heart. Heart is the center to overall good health. Heart is responsible for pumping rich nutrient blood to the body and removing all the toxins from the body. Heart pumps oxygen rich blood all around the body which is essential for the activity of your body. So if you want your heart to be healthy, exercise regularly and eat healthy food as well.
2) Help with diabetes management
Diabetes is a condition which is really common but really dangerous . Diabetes happens when your blood glucose level is too high and your pancreas cannot produce enough insulin for it.Diabetes can cause permanent vision loss, nerve damage in your eye, blood vessels in your heart, damage to your kidney nerves etc. Over time diabetes leads to heart attack, permanent vision loss, kidney failure etc. Sometimes diabetes  can be genetic but we can reduce it if we exercise regularly. Regular exercise can help you to maintain your glucose level in your blood. Studies state that physical activities are essential for individuals with diabetic to control glucose level in your blood. 
3) Reduce the risk of some cancers
According to the latest study of cancer research, regular exercise can reduce the risk of some cancers which are Colon cancer, Esophageal cancer, Breast cancer, Bladder cancer, Stomach Cancer,... etc. Exercise can regulate some hormones and prevent the risk of developing cancer cells and keep the immune system healthy. Studies  shows that person with exercise moderate intensity at least three time a week  reduced the risk of cancer by 15% than individual which not exercise.
4) Improve bone health
Exercise can increase the strength of the bone. Not everyone heard about this, yes it can. Not only by exercise but also by a nutritious diet. Aging along with certain diseases and medication can cause bones to become very weak and fragile overtime this condition called osteoporosis. Which often occurs in women after menopause, and in men after aging. We also tend to lose muscles as we age. This disease is called sarcopenia. People who develop these diseases cause less mobility and less independence. Exercise is important to keep your bones healthy at a young age and it is essential for maintaining bone strength when we are older. When you exercise regularly your bones become denser overtime and keep you healthy and independant.
5) Improve mental health and mood
Regular exercise is important because it helps to improve every part of your body including your mind. Some benefits of regular workout happen after a session of moderate to vigorous exercise, brain health is one of them. When you exercise regularly your body makes chemicals that make you feel good. Regular workout improves your thinking, learning and judgemental skill sharp as your age. And reduce the risk of depression and anxiety and it will help you sleep better at night. A person who exercises regularly has control over his mind, his emotions. Which leads to mastering his life. Exercise can reduce release of stress hormones and get out of depression.

Regular workout helps you to build your dream physique and also helps you to strengthen your muscles.  Muscles such as biceps quadriceps and pectorals are skeletal muscles, why they are called skeletal muscles because they are attached to the skeleton. Skeletal muscles are composed of very long, thin cells that include the full complement of organelles needed for general cellular functions. In addition, more than 90 percent of the total volume of a skeletal muscle cell is composed of muscle proteins, including the contractile proteins actin and myosin. When a muscle cell is activated by its nerve cell, the interaction of actin and myosin generates force through so-called power strokes. The total force depends on the sum of all the power strokes occurring simultaneously within all of the cells of a muscle.

Physical activity reduces many major mortality risk factors including arterial hypertension, diabetes mellitus type 2, dyslipidemia, coronary heart disease, stroke, and cancer. All-cause mortality is decreased by about 30% to 35% in physically active as compared to inactive subjects. In most countries the most important cause of death is cardiovascular disease, cerebrovascular disease, Malignancies, respiratory diseases and stroke. Physical activities can help to reduce the risk of dying early and  improve many diseases and conditions including arterial hypertension, diabetes mellitus type 2, dyslipidemia, obesity, coronary heart disease, chronic heart failure etc.
8) Help to maintain a moderate weight
Working out regularly can reduce weight over fat percentage. And help you to build muscles. Excess weight, especially obesity diminishes every aspect of health in your body. From reproductive, respiratory function to memory and mood perishes. Excessive weight leads to diabetes, heart disease and causes other health problems as well. Obesity leads to depression, anxiety and less socially active overthinking decreases your mental health. Nowadays lifestyle keeps youngsters forced to be overweight because of sedentary working and eating more and more junk food, smoking and drinking these will lead to bad quality life. Physical activity can lower the risk for developing chronic pain and assist in managing existing chronic pain. Individuals suffering from chronic pain can enjoy a number of benefits of physical activity and exercise. Physical activity reduces chronic pain by building muscle strength and flexibility, reducing fatigue, reducing pain sensitivity, and reducing inflammation. Research suggests that exercise may even be effective in reducing pain for difficult-to-treat conditions like fibromyalgia and neck/shoulder pain. Physical activity also provides the following additional benefits.

Sleeping is important in life. A good sleep is needed for better energy in your daily life. Regular exercise can reduce risk of dementia and Alzheimer's in adults. In people over the age of 50 years, exercise also improves certain aspects of cognition, such as processing speed. Physical activities, cognitive activity and a good diet promote mental health.
