Chloe could’ve used absolutely ANY other word in the english language to describe Max — matter of fact, she didn’t even have to try and describe Max, Frank just told her she should’ve come alone. She could’ve just said something like “she’s staying with me” or “I don’t want to be alone with you” but yet, somehow, she still chose to use the most ambiguous, very not platonic sounding term ever for Max. Like. Girl. I know what you are.
