Did Misa and rem actually have a birthday together in the original film? It felt like they met all of a sudden, and Rem died quickyly for misa, and it felt like they'd been together for less than a year. They probably wouldn't have had a birthday together, it's okay. I started a rumor.

Misa was born on the 25th of February, and Rem didn't know it. By her nature, she felt that the date of her first encounter with Misa, her first encounter with Misa on Earth, was something like a special anniversary, falling in love is both an emotional rebirth and a death spiral, and there's a lot of sexual tension, but rem probably won't mention that day to Misa either.

I'd love to see them huddle together in a tiny, unlit room where the only light is from a warm yellow candle. Misa makes a wish, and Rem watches as Misa blows out the candle and they share the cake in silence, misa asks Rem if she wants to know about her wish, and Rem says it doesn't work out. She knows Misa wants to meet Kira sooner rather than later, but Rem wants that day to come as late as possible, misa's gonna get caught in Kira's crossfire.

The strawberry cake was sweet, and Misa didn't particularly like it, but the two of them huddled quietly on the sofa, sharing a small piece of cake, and it made her feel like she was at home, a very warm and peaceful day, rem's earrings sparkled in the living room light as soon as the candles blew out, overlapping the bright smiles of everyone at the family dinner I remembered.

Would Misa have thought it would be nice if time had stopped right there.
