I'm so sorry I promise I'm not trying to argue, I'm just confused bc there are zero nominations for the show as a whole (source: this Vanity Fair article which lists nominations for 2024), which would make sense, given the cut off date is June 1 and the second season premiered 2 weeks after that.

it's also possible the HOTD considerations were just not accepted for sure, and I'm just missing some info about dates, but I must admit that would be kinda weird for an HBO show of that caliber.

what am I missing, why are people so upset that Tom Glynn Carney isn't in consideration for the next Emmys? i mean he did a great performance but the show missed the cutoff by like a couple weeks i thought, so he can't even be considered until next cycle, right?

Edit: I just looked at the full list of actors nominated this year and they're was no one from HOTD at all...
