One of the best things to happen at Sony's E3 with some gameplay of "The Last of Us", with the best teammate AI ever. I bet everyone will give Naughty Dog their money.

E3 Thoughts Day 1

Oh hai Tumblr, long time no blarghle and post. Well I hope making blogs at 1:30 A.M. is possible, but I felt like talking about my thoughts on E3 so far --- particularly with Microsoft and Sony's conferences. During the Microsoft/Xbox conference, even though I missed the 45 minutes of it, it probably didn't even matter (though if I'm correct I missed them talking about the new Tomb Raider and Splinter Cell games). For the third year in a row, Microsoft has been doing nothing but the same gimmicks with Kinect. With the Xbox Smart Glass overall, I'm not impressed, as it too is just another gimmick for apps and to work alongside smart phones.  I'm sorry to say this, but the Xbox is becoming less and less of console with every new thing Microsoft decides to send out and show to us at E3. :/ Game wise, they showed off the obvious Black Ops II, Resident Evil 6, and Halo 4, but also surprisingly a new South Park game, which probably was the best thing that came during the conference in my opinion (and yet the game is also gonna be on PC and PS3).  Anyways, Sony's conference showed some pretty interesting footage of stuff from God of War: Ascension and Assassin's Creed III and PlayStation All Star Battle Royale (SPOILERS: Fat Princess wins a match, lol) there are two things I didn't really care much for. PlayStation Move: No one cares. No one uses it. Move on from it Sony. The Wonderbook: It essentially makes reading into reality, and one of the first (I don't know if I should call it games or books or whatever) things to be coming out is "Book of Spells" (where J.K. Rowling throws her money at Sony (again) to make another variant of Pottermore). The presentation was dragging on and full of "THINK ABOUT THE CHILDREN ALJDOIJASOIGJOIJD OINJEOIJN OIENJEOIJ OIJE!" and stuff like that. So yeah, I might add more stuff later. k

Stuff Happens

So like I got Dota 2 installed. But sadly, it doesn't work because my laptop's le crap with only 2.1 gHz, and the game needs at least 2.26 gHz to run. Fuck this. So I spent most of my time doing other stuff like a boss. Capitalism isn't going to do things itself, you know? Bonus points for anyone who can guess what game it is. Also, I don't mind other people giving their opinions, but if you're gonna use the "LOL IT SUCKS" excuse for stuff again, then forget it. Give LOGICAL and FAIR reasons and I'll pay attention to you more. This is why we can't have nice things.

About Damn Time

Finally, I actually got my beta invite for Dota 2. It took them damn long enough to ship out more invites. Plus, it's my first time playing Dota... even though I know that it's against other titles like League of Legends and Heroes of Newerth.... Might try LoL sometime though.
