3 components of worldbuilding:
1. The author’s kinks
2. The author’s power fantasy
3. The author’s political agenda
Plot and logic optional

This is a legitimate and damaging cultural shift for all involved parties and it needs to be addressed.

no way i just saw people in tiktok comments crying screaming throwing up at the idea of aslan being a jesus figure. worsties the lion literally dies to save edmund (the sinner) and then rises from the dead. he tells the pevensies he can be found under a different name in our world. what else could this have meant

knight who is constantly searching for a good and noble king to serve but cannot fucking find one for the life of him so he has to become the good and noble king himself.
and now all these other knights are coming around like "please let me serve you" and like obviously hes going to let them serve him thats the point of being a good and noble king but its also. very annoying. one of you become the good and noble king for once lets trade

Random childhood rage bubbling up: telling children to “show their work” in math class and then not offering them any help figuring out what that actually looks like and scolding them for not showing their work when they deliberately specifically did their best to show their work, because of course it should be so obvious what’s missing that the kid clearly just didn’t bother and just needs to be reminded again not assisted - NOT A GOOD PEDAGOGICAL TECHNIQUE! SHOW THEM WHAT THEY’RE SUPPOSED TO BE DOING!

anyway you should always remember that all those foreigners you see dying on the news are just as real people as you are who have just as much interiority as you do. there is nothing about you that makes you more important and it is by pure chance that you are not in their position. in fact, this holds for all of history. every person, no matter the horror of the fate that befell them, had just as much interiority as you do. i feel like some people haven't fully internalized this.
