the real reason they gave darth vader a voice modulator is bc baby girl constantly sounds like he’s on the verge of tears

Vader is like yes I want to kill Obi-Wan Kenobi no I don’t want him dead yes I wish he had never existed no i wouldn’t want to live in a universe where he would be nothing yes I am glad our fates are still intertwined no I do not know how to define myself without him yes I want to tear out his beating heart and watch him die knowing I did it no I would not survive if I did

The funniest thing about Obi-Wan and Anakin is that they’re that couple that gets together and breaks up constantly They’re married for years during the Clone Wars! They have THE most old married couple dynamic during ROTS!  But then they have the galaxy’s most explosive divorce on Mustafar! Then they get back together for another quick angry fuck and then briefly married again for like five minutes on that barren moon! Then another explosive divorce THAT SAME DAY! Then they get back together for one more angry fuck on the Death Star and break up again! Then they get married again IN THE FORCE ITSELF! They’re that couple who will keep doing this forever and ever, driving everyone around them nuts, until you realize, oh, they’re just Like That, just let them do what they’re going to do, they’ll always get back together eventually and they’re going to bicker like always.  They’re the worst and it’s HILARIOUS.
