âwell , â fabian shrugs their shoulders. â i was really just coming by to say hi ? havenât seen or the rest of the family in awhile. so , uh , hi. â their job tended to take over their life so when they could see other family members they took the chance.Â
âPlease donât mind my mess â what can I do for you?â Kon says as he looks up from where he had some of his stuff spread out. He picks some of it up â always making physical plans for fitness schedules. The man took his life as a trainer very seriously after all.Â

â i TRUTHFULLY donât think the sun ever came out from behind the clouds in gotham. itâs always so gloomy and rainy there - so the sun is a nice change. â fabian didnât mind the winter but theyâd always prefer the sun to the dark clouds.Â
Morgan laid in the quad, arms and legs spread out. Sitting up as she did so, she said, âAs lovely as winter can be,â Truthfully, she hated winter. Cold winter and snow had never been much of her thing, and her wardrobe clashed with both. âI have missed just how great the sun is.â She said.Â

"my feet were not on the ground." / @sting-likea-stingerÂ
â you donât say ? â special powers and abilities had always intrigued fabian. afterall, they were only a HUMAN. â is that part of the suit ? itâs a very cool trick but i prefer feet on the ground. less distracting that way. â

âGood, I donât think I can help myself.â Roy says with a laugh as he settles down in the free chair opposite Fabian. Knowing Fabian is usually too busy to organise lunch is a little concerning - Roy makes a mental note to let Jason know so they can prep some meals and drop them off with Fabian later. âNothing special, Jason made some spaghetti and we had heaps left over, I didnât think youâd mind it.â
fabian had been living on their own for years but being ADULT wasnât something that they were used to. they were in their late twenties but how they lived to be compared to when they were in high school. they ate a lot of ramen and mac ân cheese and drank too much coffee for it to be normal. they knew that they had to become more of an adult and learn how to cook for themselves , especially if they saw a bright future with their boyfriend. which they did. â never - iâd never mind leftovers , â fabian smiles.Â

âdoes that number include you?â it could have almost been a joke in line with the ones that they themselves made - but thereâs a frown already in place upon her lips, and a sadness to her gaze. sia was back on the grind, all her efforts going in to getting herself back to top vigilante condition. but sometimes, she remembered why she had thought it best to quit. people died. they disappeared without a trace. their lives were ruined, and their loved ones left behind. she had always hated that part - more her mother in that sense than she was her father. âit seems⊠cruel.âÂ
â yeah , â their reply is short and to the point. death wasnât something that they talked about , ESPECIALLY their own death unless they were making a joke ( which nobody thought was funny. nobody. ) after fabian died they had tried to stay ROBIN but they were so aggressive back then and so troubled as they had to deal with the affects of rising from the dead via the lazarus pit. â itâs... a life we chose. â not exactly - it was the life that they were thrown into due to their parents. â do you ever wonder what it would be like if our family was... normal ? â

Jason smiles a little. âNo, but I also canât stop you from undoing it when I leave.â He admits as he starts to wrap a bandage around Fabianâs wrist. âSo what happened? What did they look like?â
fabian wasnât even sure about what could have happened if jasper hadnât been there to hold them back. nothing good thatâs for sure. â just some guys giving jasper and i a hard time the other night , â a night when they were supposed to be having a fun time for date night. â didnât get a good look at them , â too busy punching them.Â

âmm,â jasper replied, half thinking about their past, half their future â it had taken the australian too long to realise just how important the other was to him, and it seemed that he was finding out more and more every day just how much heâd changed, thanks to fabian. it was about time he did something about that. âiâm glad you think so. yâreckon youâre interested in one last gift?â
â another gift ? â fabian couldnât even think about WHAT gift jasper was referring to. what else was left ? they had had a perfect day with the people they loved - they didnât need anything else.Â

âItâs clearly something.â Jason gives Fabian a look, even if he canât take away their hallucinations he can be there for them. He knows what it was like to live with them everyday, and if he can help Fabian by just being here then heâll do that. âI can be present â thatâs something. Which is better than nothing. All I ever wanted for you was to be happy. Come here.â
* italics is spanish.
fabian runs their hands over their face , a POOR ATTEMPT of getting rid of the hallucinations. â itâs fine , itâs fine , â they pull lightly at their already messy hair. they finally drop their hands to their sides but moments later they rub the back of their neck , the nerves and ANXIETY were tearing them apart. â it wonât go away - this stupid storm is messing with my head or something. âÂ

the young woman before fabian has their FULL ATTENTION. they werenât just going to brush the incident aside like many of the cops that fabian worked with. â do you know anyone who would want to do this ? â they look up , pen in hand as theyâre prepared to write everything down. â you didnât see anyone around when you got home who could have done this ? â
closed starter / @likehcpeâ !
she canât figure it out. winona sits, restless in a plain plastic chair at paragonâs very own police station. the deputy sheriff sits in front of her, and everything about them sets her off, leaves an uncomfortable tick in her neck. itâs a familiarity of sorts. ( same features she sees in the mirror every day, though she doesnât realize this. ) â it was there when i got home. â â MURDERER â in big, bold black letters on her front door.
#whimsicalwiinie#im v sorry how long this took it got buried under all the gifsets i saved in my drafts dlkfgndlkg

on a normal day, birdie would be one of the most compassionate people, worried about everyone around her, but right now, she didnât care, at all. she frankly could not give a shit about anyoneâs problems. she just wanted to go back to her apartment and be alone. âsee what, fabian? thereâs nothing there. i donât know what youâre seeing, but clearly itâs your problem and i canât help you if youâre seeing things.â
fabian had never known their cousin to be harsh or CRUEL. never. it was clear that there was something OFF with everyone around fabian - including themselves. â you sure youâre feeling okay ? â they brushed aside their own issues , feeling that birdie was more important.Â

âah, diânât think iâd be gone for so long. sorry, darlinâ.â jasper replied, standing up on his toes to kiss fabianâs jaw softly. heâd spotted a familiar face across the room who he felt the need to speak to, but he hadnât expected it to last twenty minutes. wrapping his arms around his partnerâs waist, he grinned. âbut now âm all yours.â
" thought you left , â fabian shrugged it off , a wide grin on their lips to show they were joking. they were glad to see jasper talking to other people and making friends. he had really grown so much since they met and since they started dating. â -- have i mentioned how handsome you look tonight ? âÂ

âWhat is it?â Jason turns around, not seeing anything behind him, but he was more concerned about his children than whatever was going on with himself. It was as if he somehow forgot how to speak English â which had been the second language he learned growing up as a kid. âWhatever it is Iâll protect you.â
* italics is spanish.
â itâs nothing , â fabian shakes their head. and then the hallucination was gone for the moment. â my head... â something had happened and that was making them see things they DID NOT want to see. â you canât protect me from this. i donât think you can do anything, â their spanish was a bit rusty as was their ability to lip read spanish - but they managed.

fabian stopped speaking mid conversation - paying more attention to what was behind jason. to everyone , nothing was actually there except for a bunch of desks , but to fabian they were reliving their death over and over again. they couldnât focus on a single conversation when they were seeing something that was so TRAUMATIZING.Â

â it wonât STOP - they just wonât stop , â fabian was going from hallucinating things related to their death to hallucinating that they were ACTUALLY DEAD. neither of which were very fun for them to go through. â do you see it ? tell me you see it. â
