fascinating to me how quickly we forget that the cycles repeat. people treating 5-15 year olds like this breed of superchild created to do evil and taint the world. that was all of us. "they're wrecking sephoras" you would not survive a 2015 hot topic with this mindset. "they're falling for the stanley cup thing" buying on trend overly robust camping gear for every day use is like. a middle class tradition in this country. our glorious kånken backpack vs their wicked stanley cup.

I made the mistake of ordering from a Chinese indie brand that wasn't one of the ones I usually order from and ignored the rating of it. ;-;

I'm really regretting doing that because these dresses are so bad. They're def still wearable but the quality is not as high as I'd like. What's worse is that I bought a size up so the OP is super baggy on me and almost not salvageable. I might have to sell it. The JSK isn't that bad but it's still baggy and the quality is way better on it, weirdly enough. But it was damp when it arrived, fortunately the dye didn't run into the ivory parts.

Angelic Pretty x Final Fantasy 35th collab

Coord for "Distant Worlds" concert. I just received this JSK one or two days prior, so it felt like the perfect opportunity. I love birds, hence I love chocobo 🐣 the chocobo theme medley from the 25th anniversary concert was played, and that was probably my favourite part 🤣

It unexpectedly snowed a lot this day, so I had to change out a couple items from my planned coord, but I think it turned out alright (the shoes are actually quite ivory compared to the dress, but the lighting here seems to soften it a bit).

I felt like I was one of the only ones who reserved this dress, but I've seen a few other owners since so I feel less alone now😂

This was just a simple coord since I was incredibly busy this weekend, but I have a number of other coord ideas in my head so I definitely want to wear this again soon.

Almost everything is Angelic Pretty, the bag is Morning Glory (I think) and shoes are Fint.

Today was my comms nutcracker ballet meet! I think Barbie Nutcracker was the last time I saw any nutcracker, so it was cool to see (for the most part!). We went early for the sugar plum tea, which was surprisingly good. This will likely be my last meet for the year, and I definitely need some rest

So recently I hosted an “Old School Meetup” Where everyone wore an outfit that predates lolita fashion in 2007.

Dressing up minimally again was extremely refreshing and I encourage everyone to take part in it from time to time.

Nowadays you forget that back then you didn’t really have…

My teacup shelf is finally up and I’m so happy!! ღ I still have some in my curio cabinet and a bunch of mismatching plates that I think I might hang on my wall.
