Kenny taught him to survive and then left him with nothing but a bloody blade. He was still only a child. His first real friends died because he believed in them. Because he dared to hope.

Every person he's ever dared to care about has been ripped away until caring became another kind of curse. He's never asked for happiness—wouldn't even know what to do with it if it came. Never asked for rest, though god knows he's earned it a thousand times over. Never asked for the weight to be lifted from his shoulders, even when it's crushed him down to nothing. He's carried the dreams of the dead for so long that his own have been buried beneath them. And still, his heart remains enormous. Hidden beneath all that pain and distance, but enormous. He sees a scared child and protects them, because when he was a kid, no one protected him. He holds dying hands and whispers promises he'll spend lifetimes keeping. He cleans obsessively because creating order from chaos is the only control he has left.

But the universe has always been cruel to those who love too quietly, too fiercely, too completely.

Levi's love is utterly selfless. And maybe that's the real tragedy. not that he's lost so much, but that he's never once believed he deserved to receive even a fraction of the devotion he gives. Never once thought to ask for something just for himself. Not even after he was injured—when he dragged his broken body after Armin, murmuring that if he stopped to rest, they’d forget he ever existed. He's spent so long being humanity's strongest that everyone forgot he's also humanity's most heartbroken.

I’m sorry guys I can’t stay silent for much longer… I have to speak my mind. Miche Zacharius is one of the most attractive aot character's and extremely underrated. Idc if he only had like 15 min of screen time in the whole show. I am extremely attracted to him and he looks so perfect.
