introducing the Malloysical/Chavkin autistic fanwork dump!

hi everyone! Happy Autism Acceptance Month! Since we’re all shut in at home, and probably experiencing some degree of mental distress (whether it be caused by Autism or not) I decided to plan something fun: a fanworks exchange by and for Autistic people, about Autistic characters!

Malloy/Chavkin works are my biggest special interest, which is why I chose those. This isn’t an exchange or anything, just a place for Autistic fans of Dave Malloy and/or Rachel Chavkin to post autism-related fandom work! However, if people want to do private exchanges as part of this, that’s obviously allowed!

“So, what can we submit?” Anything! You can write a fic, draw art, cosplay, etc…anything that ties a character into being Autistic! I don’t have any rules otherwise besides from the obvious, ie keep things SFW if you’re under 18; no pedophiliac ships; etc. I also advise creators to tag triggers that are related to ableism.

Basically, you can post any type of content you want. You can write a fic about a character living with Autism, you can draw a character stimming, or you can post a picture of yourself in cosplay as a character that you headcanon as Autistic! Anything is accepted!

Just try to get it in by the end of April!

Obviously, only Autistic people can make content for this, I encourage allistic people to boost this post!

This is meant to be an incredibly laidback thing by and for Autistic fans of Dave Malloy & Rachel Chavkin. If you’re uploading to a platform that isn’t tumblr due to the nature of your submission (ie. a video that’s better fit for Youtube, a fic that’s better fit for Ao3), please do post the link to tumblr so that we can all see it!

TL;DR of the rules:

Be Autistic if you’re submitting anything (But allistics can still engage with the content, of course)

Follow basic etiquette — respect everyone. Tag triggers related to ableism. Don’t post anything 18+ if you’re a minor.
