I'm all for Captain MacTavish never really naming Ghost by a pet name - not during sex, not to tease him, not out of principle. Because that man was deprived of his own name for so long, identity taken from him, convinced he wasn't a person. To MacTavish, it's always Riley or Simon. The only exception is John calling him "baby" on rare occasions when the affection he holds gets too much and he needs to express exactly how loved his boy is. Thanks for coming to my hc ted talk - I'm emotional about them. 😭
