Matilda’s strong young mind continued to grow, nurtured by the voices of all those authors who had set their books out into the world like ships onto the sea. These books gave Matilda a comforting message: “You are not alone.”

Made my version of a full adult Kovu (In Simba's Pride, he is just a young adult). I personally think he wouldnt grow his mane thicker, like Simba's, but longer, keeping its wilderness. Also played with a more realistic scar(s) than the one in the movie.
This look kinda scare the young pridelanders, cause it remind them of Scar, causing certain distrust of the Prince Consort. But the older ones, like the elephants, see in Kovu a resemblance of another lion, another outlander that also married the Queen of the Pridelands in that time and became the kindest ruler the lands could have ever asked for.

I personally wanna see less 'you are not a burden/it's not work to love you' and more 'you are worth the work it takes to love you.' I KNOW I'm a burden sometimes. that isn't such a terrible thing! humans are strong. we can carry burdens. and it is work for me to be there for my friends, but it's work I'm willing to do.
we need to acknowledge this because pretending love isn't work will never make people like me feel less guilty for accepting love. we need to talk about it so people don't feel bad for having boundaries and not always being up to do the work. we need to accept it so we can properly appreciate what others do for us and what we're doing for them.
yes it does take work to love you. but guess what? you still deserve love, and you deserve people who are willing to do the work to love you. it doesn't make you bad. all love take work. and everyone is worth it.

Millions of years ago, a meteorite made of vibranium, the strongest substance in the universe, struck the continent of Africa, affecting the plant life around it. And when the time of man came, five tribes settled on it and called it Wakanda. The tribes lived in constant war with each other until a warrior shaman received a vision from the Panther Goddess Bast, who led him to the Heart-Shaped Herb, a plant that granted him superhuman strength, speed and instincts. The warrior became king and the first Black Panther, the protector of Wakanda. Four tribes agreed to live under the king’s rule, but the Jabari Tribe isolated themselves in the mountains. The Wakandans used vibranium to develop technology more advanced than any other nation. But as Wakanda thrived, the world around it descended further into chaos. To keep vibranium safe, the Wakandans vowed to hide in plain sight, keeping the truth of their power from the outside world.
Black Panther (2018), dir. Ryan Coogler

one of my favorite things about katniss especially in the first book is that she is literally ALWAYS scheming. and like it’s a great character trait honestly because she’s super observant and aware of how she is being perceived, but it’s also fucking hilarious because she constantly assumes that everyone around her is the same way. like when peeta is crying after being selected and she’s like “hm. what could this strategy mean? is he possibly trying to look weak to trick me? won’t work on me you chiseled beast” LIKE KATNISS HES JUST SAD
