fun fact my Opa used to build amazing little toy shops and houses and figurines for his kids (he had 7 so there’s more than enough toys to make) and when they stopped playing with them he just. Used them as kindle. Literally tossed them in the fireplace. Which is why there’s only like 4 little things left

y'all remember those hamilton animatics? where ppl would animate scenes from the musical (before the pro-shot existed). they used the actors appearance for the character (makes sense and cute) which means that when between act 1 and 2 three of the actors characters change they still look the same

of course i in my unlimited genius took this to mean that they were the same people but with different personalities and names and when they acted hostile against hamilton i took this mean that something happened in between acts that made them turn against him

now you can already guess how confusing that made the story for me, i was constantly going ''why are they pretending he's not lafayette where did his accent go'' for example, which also led me to believe that ''do you remember lafayette?'' from hamilton was the deepest most heart breaking thing ever, like do you even remember who you used to be? only for it to be fake

it took me a while but when i figured out they WERE in fact supposed to be different people (and real ones nonetheless) i had to step away for a good few months, even thinking abt hamilton in any shape way or form made me cringe with embarrassment

since we're talking about hamilton fun fact i was a little hater when i first listened to it because my sister liked it so by default i had to hate it

my unpopular opinion is that i hate tiktok because now people just publicly watch loud ass videos in public spaces with no regard for anyone else. 100% it was not this bad with youtube, it’s such a different thing with tiktok. put on headphones. you are grown.
