At the age of just three, her strong connection to the Force caught the attention of Jedi Master Garrtrac Cheser, who, after a heartfelt discussion with her family, convinced them to entrust her to the Jedi Order. Taken to the grand Jedi Temple on Coruscant, Shiri began her long journey of Jedi training. She quickly stood out for her sensitivity to the Force, as well as for her spirited, compassionate, and sometimes impulsive personality. Her vibrant and helpful nature made her well-liked among fellow Padawans, but it also made her vulnerable to being taken advantage of by those less kind-hearted. As she grew, Shiri developed into a skilled lightsaber duelist, training extensively in two contrasting forms: Form II – Makashi, elegant and precise, suited for one-on-one duels; and Form V – Shien/Djem So, powerful and defensive, ideal for deflecting blaster fire and holding her ground in battle. Her lightsaber glowed with a vivid green blade.

Loving your BG3 character art! I would love to see skin color pallets to see how you achieve certain lighting and textures. As an artist I am finding that I myself seem to struggle with processing color and transitions. Is it's grayscale [shadow to light] I am fine. If it's mono color scale I am fine. If it's flat color cool I know my colors I can see them I'm not color blind. But the moment it is color with other colors used to create shadow and light affect i... don't process it well. I got to a certain level of doing it but somthing never feels right. But yours is amazing!

First of all hi and thank u. Second... I have no idea how or what i'm doing, I'm not a professional artist, I've never been to any art scool or any online courses, I do not have any specific color pallets, or anything i plan ahead of time. I'm just rawdogging this shit and layer different colors on top of each other until it looks decent to me

This wasn't the way i colored the last year, I went through very heavy artblock for almost a year, and when i got out of it by doing those portraits it just happened. I don't know what kind awakening i had in that time period when I stared at blank canvas for hours. Something just switched in me recently and i started being much bolder with the colors i use. The only definite thing i can say is that i usually do a shadow and then layer an opposite color inside and lower the opacity, sometimes use gradient maps, sometimes don't. Everything is done with one brush, which is basic textured CSP brush "Chalk"

I can give you rough step by step of what I do, but idk if it'll be of any help, cuz i myself don't do it step by step, the process is messy with ungodly amount of layers and absolutely isn't organized, which I found is the best way for me. It got a whole lot easier when i let go of any structure, which might not work for everyone. Just be bold ig, it's ur drawing no need to be afraid to put a "wrong color" here and there, it's all part of the journey to discover your own way to draw (i was set free only when i stopped looking up to anyone)

The style I use these days is a lot simpler (usually at most 3 layers) but the logic remains that I first pick a background, then use it to inform the lighting:

Sometimes it takes some adjusting because layer modes (multiply, glow dodge, etc) affect each other and the final tones you see
