i absolutely hate it when advice posts tell you to study all the time. i just read one that said, “if you sleep now, you’ll dream. if you study now, you’ll live your dream.” i mean, it could be metaphorical, but it’s actually a really unhealthy message. studying constantly is not healthy. you need to have a balanced life. you need to have a social life, you need to exercise, you need to sleep. how on earth can you be the best version of yourself if you only study? look after yourself. get at least 6 hours sleep a night. eat healthy food. go outside and see your friends. do things that you love. studying constantly, through the night and day, is not good for you at all. and it’s time that the studyblr community learned that.

Some of the spreads are Narnia inspired! ☺️ I’m actually so happy with this spread — I think I’m going to keep it like this for a while! + + QOTD; did you like Narnia growing up? Who was your favorite Pevensie? AOTD; I have so many fond memories of Narnia. I loved all of the kids tbh Peter was a babe 😍 (WILLIAM MOSELEY!!) but Lucy was also so sweet!

I just read somewhere that Game of Thrones season 8 is starting next year in 2019 so WOOOO I have all of this year to get caught up in all the drama hahaha.  I’m nearly done with Season 1 and I have about a month to binge before school starts in the spring again, and then summer if I’m not done with the series.

Btw the GoT logo and “winter is coming” text are hand-drawn with my trusty Muji pen.  Look at the awful kerning on the right page hahah.  I probably shouldn’t have gotten a spiral-bound planner because of leftie issues.

Hello! I’ve been noticing posts on the studyblr community discussing how they would like to see “natural” in-class taken notes that are not re-written! I personally never re-write notes and usually take them in lectures, except I finally learned to do calligraphy pretty decently, so my notes look better than they did before? So here’s a throwback to my old notes, taken at university in my 2nd year of studies! Hope you can see that my notes are not that different now! 😂
