Synastry notes pt. 1 🧁

In a parent-child Synastry, if the child’s Ascendant is conjunct the parent’s Sun, it’s an indicator that the child is really admired and reaches the expectation of the parent.

Sun opposite Moon in Synastry is a soulmate aspect, in my humble opinion🤭

The Synastry I’ve seen countless times in fated connections are conjunct angles. Angles are the fastest moving points in a chart, thus they hold great importance for each individual. So, for example, if one person is Scorpio Asc, Taurus Dsc, Aquarius IC, Leo MC, and the other person is Aquarius Asc, Leo Dsc, Scorpio MC etc. — the relationship holds significance. Even if it’s just two angles conjunct, not necessarily all four. I cannot stress this enough how many times I’ve seen it😅 and the people involved always describe the relationship as fated, magical, and veryy important.

In 4th House Synastry, partners tend to take on the roles of each others’ parents. They instinctively give each other what they have lacked in childhood. It has the potential of being very healing or very toxic.

Venus conjunct Ascendant is a good indicator for jealousy. The Venus person can deeply envy what the Asc embodies (skills, talents, charisma), and what they have (possessions, finances, career, partners). They also wouldn’t admit it out loud, and could turn to bad-mouthing, or even publicly humiliating the Asc (only if not developed!).

I believe that even if someone’s Venus doesn’t make an aspect to the other party’s Mars, but it’s in the same triplicity, it does matter. Same goes for Moon. In my personal practise I really like to see general compatibility, expressed not only in exact aspects. If your Moon and Sun signs are compatible (no matter the degree), the chances for a harmonious relationship increase.

Mars-Sun and Mars-Moon are very interesting aspects in Synastry. They almost seem vital for the relationship, as Mars is movement and drive. I’ve noticed to have these (interestingly, harsh aspects too) with all of my closest people. And I think that those aspects guarantee physical manifestation of the relationship, like actually meeting, talking etc.

In Saturn square/opposite Venus, Moon or Sun Synastry, the personal planet person can start feeling unloved or unappreciated over time. They crave softness and vulnerability, but Saturn doesn’t understand — because it does love the planet. It just isn’t as needy, and is more so concerned with the responsibility of teaching them important lessons, than being lovey-dovey with them.

What concerns me, while reading a Synastry chart, is when the Moon is unaspected. It doesn’t mean that the love is fake or whatever, but it’s just really hard to get those raw, organic emotional moments together, where you feel seen for what you are at heart. Usually, if a relationship like this occurs and continues, there is some angle stuff going on. Moon is really important like that.

What is it with Taurus and Sagittarius together?!! Those are technically not compatible (quincunx), but I always see these two in relationships and friendships. One of my theories is that Taurus, who wants to possess, is tempted by what they cannot capture and hold down — free-spirited Sagittarius.

Moon square Mercury Synastry doesn’t always manifest as some sort of verbal conflicts. Often, it just means that there isn’t much to talk about, and so the relationship gets stagnant over time — there is no natural flow in exchanging information.

I feel like Sun conjunct Sun Synastry is more competitive than romantic?? Tbh.. There’s also this mirroring effect, where you can see your own flaws through them, so it’s kinda easier to hate them😭 you know

Moon conjunct or opposite Venus Synastry allows the parties to be very, very close; sometimes even too close. These two can get so scared of hurting each other, that they choose to avoid confrontation, especially if there is 4th/12th House Synastry involved. It does help to keep things soft, though, if there are other harsh aspects.

EROS CONJUNCT ASCENDANT: There is no physical attraction like the attraction you feel for someone whos Ascendant is conjunct your Eros. Unmatched. Romantic and passionate. Love at first sight.

MOON CONJUNCT LILITH: When a mans Lilith is conjunct my Moon it makes me feel like he sees right trough me. I dont get disgusted by him like I do with a lot of men lol. Everytime I feel ”safe” with a man its usually his Lilith on my Moon.

MOON 1ST HOUSE: I never feel as safe with someone as when their Moon is in my 1st house. It feels like they were my parents in another life or something.

VENUS 2ND HOUSE: The compliments, the ego boost. They feel like conditioner for my soul and self esteem. A lot of kissing and touching.

VENUS OPPOSITE MARS: The roles are super clear here. Mars takes the dominant and leading role and Venus likes to follow. I also noticed it indicates sexual compatibility. One have what the other person lacks and vice versa. This is like yin and yang meeting. I even prefer the opposition over the famous Venus conjunct Mars aspect.

VENUS TRINE/SEXTILE ASCENDANT: Pleasant, friendly and a lot of physical attraction without becoming too much or too shallow like with the square. When im the ascendant person i feel like Venus person genuinely likes me. The conversations just flows super easily.

MOON QUINCUNX MOON: Makes the two of you super different but in a way you can learn from eachother. With Moon Square Moon in synastry i feel like we are different but in a way that i cant and dont want to learn their ways. But with the quincunx we are different in a way that we complete eachother.

EROS(433) SQUARE PSYCHE(16): Copied from one of my other posts ”I know the conjunction is seen as the soulmate/marriage indicator but i personally noticed the square to be more extreme. The square is very ”See you in 10 years honey” Something is in the way or the timing is not right but you know they will be back while with the conjunction it doesnt feel as extreme and the obstacles arent as many. They are always in the back of your mind no matter how many years go by. Important notes: None of the things enlisted below are professional confirmations. Let's not forget that a synastry chart is more detailed and you need to see the bigger picture it paints. These are simply my personal observations who can remain up to debate, exactly as my other posts

— I've noticed that the house in which each person's Venus falls can show how the couple met

Ex: Venus in the 1st house – the couple first met when one or the both of them expressed themselves freely. Or maybe they met when they were both younger

Venus in the 11th house – the couple started off as friends when they first met. Or perhaps they were friends-of-a-friend, in general around the same social circle or simply in the same community. They could've also met on the internet

— Ascendant conjunct MC is a synastry aspect that is constantly seen in soulmate connections and long term relationships due to the fact that in this case a person's IC would automatically conjunct the others descendant. The IC-DSC conjunction in synastry is so potent and so warm. One person's soul and deeper parts is what the other seeks in a lifelong partner

— Mars in the 7th house overlay is either enemies to lovers or lovers to enemies

— I've noticed that Libra risings tend to benefit a lot from 1st house synastry. Usually Libra risings focus on pleasing others or in general centering others instead of themselves. 1st house synastry pretty much gives them a metaphorical mirror that reflects on themselves through the planet person, and not on other people only. Basically kind of like the healthy type of mirroring

— Oppositions in synastry seem to be more about external struggle for the couple, while squares in synastry seem to be more about internal struggle for the couple

— One of the hardest house overlays I've seen in synastry is when one partners malefic planets fall into the others 1st house. Bonus points if the malefic creates squares or oppositions to the house person's planets

— I believe that a couple should have at least one or two conjunctions between inner planets and Chiron in order for some real healing to happen. Only trines and sextiles to Chiron in synastry seem to have this effect where the partners are indifferent to the concept of deep healing, while only oppositions or squares to Chiron in synastry are pretty much pain for the sake of pain. Conjunctions just simply hit that sweet spot, tho that doesn't mean the healing process will be fully comfortable

— If a guy's mars doesn't aspect your inner planets, chances are he isn't that into you. If a girl's venus doesn't aspect your inner planets, chances are she isn't that into you

— Relationships who do not have some consistent trines and sextiles between each partner's moon and planets do not last most of the time. I mean, my statement makes sense if you think so: how is a relationship gonna last with little to no emotional compatibility?

— Harmonious aspects between one person's Uranus and the other person's planets makes the Uranus person think that the planet person brings something fresh and exciting into their life

Full accuracy depends on the sign & aspects.

Generally this shows both are naturally in tune with one another’s emotions. There is an unspoken understanding of one another on a deep level. They know how to avoid upsetting each other. Both can become the most supportive people in one another’s life.

However, they know each other so well if they want they can easily intentionally trigger one another. If they want to they can turn from each other’s biggest supporter into their biggest hater. That is the danger of the closeness of this conjunction.

Moon conjunct Mars Synastry

When Moon is the man it depends on the man’s preference. Do they enjoy a woman who can be dominant? If he does, this can be great compatibility. The man will like that the woman is protective - jealous at times, and knows what she wants. He can appreciate her being a direct and a no bs type person. This can be like the meme of a man’s gf telling the waiter “He said no pickles” - basically standing up for him and taking action.

However, if he’d rather be the dominating energy himself, he can feel Mars is too dominating or aggressive for him. He may feel Mars is insensitive or reckless/careless at times. He may sub consciously feel a threat to his own masculinity. This can create conflict.

However, this isn’t considering the sign or other aspects. Not all Mars act as dominating personalities.

When woman is Moon and man is Mars. They can run into the same problem of Moon feeling the man is too dominating. However, I’ve noticed when in the sign of Capricorn, the woman feels the man is a “real man”. Moon is able to trust and let Mars guide and protect them. In cap, Mars can gradually get Moon to let their guard down. The same could apply with genders reversed. Mars is exalted in cap so this may be why I see in this sign specifically it can work very well.

For your specific placements - There can be a push and pull energy. The Moon and Asc brings familiarity and good understanding of one another. Yet, Mars conjunct your Asc in natal shows you may be an adventurous and dominating person. (This is if your mars is strong and not receiving contradicting aspects in natal.) You could get Moon out of their comfort zone. You can challenge them. Moon can both be pulled in by this and possibly pulled out because it’s not familiar/comfortable. It really depends on the entire chart.

just random astrological observations, do not take those as facts.

✧₊⁺ pluto dominants/martians/saturnians share the same paradox of resistance: they crave autonomy and free will over their own evolution but they are also the ones life FORCIBLY reshapes, every single time. change is a compulsion of the universe for them, it is uncontrollable. the more they try to freeze time, keep control, or run away from transformation (forced or not), the more life sends them events that force them to surrender control (very similar to a tower moment in tarot). the sooner they accept that change is inevitable, the sooner they manage to control their life. ironic. this also ties to the concept of reaction formation in psychoanalysis, overcompensating for a perceived weakness by doing the opposite. martians/plutonians/saturnians ofter overexert willpower to hide vulnerability and fear of change. do not fight your transformation, you'd only fight yourself.

I've spoken about how 7th house synastry isn't always rainbows and butterflies bc it rules over open enemies too. But something undeniably good about this synastry is that it makes you able to perfectly coexist and work with the other person even in those cases where you don't like each other. With this synastry it is easier to detach and put your differences aside if you both have some common goal and/or need to resolve a conflict. 7th house synastry makes it easy to end up on good or polite terms with a person

Scorpio Moons don't handle conflict very well. They remind me of the Grinch a little? 😭 No one gatekeeps their personal space more than them which is ironic bc their aura makes a lot of ppl feel the urge to get closer to them. They are the most likely to attract stalkers or ppl who secretly fantasize with them.

Air risings think about changing their entire life and identity at least 5 times a day. They are rather fluid and unpredictable it's like they're constantly exploring themselves. I've said this before but Scorpio ASC really is one of the most common rising signs in celebrities due to Leo 10th house (derivative system). Also Earth ASC is very common in celebrities or public figures too since Air 10th house gives a career where you have prominent presence in media and communication. Most common earth asc is Capricorn cause venus ruling 10th house gives wealth and favorable reputation. Most common Air ASC is Gemini (Pisces 10th house) and for fire ASC is Leo (venus ruling 10th house) . But the top most common one as per my observation is def Scorpio ASC

With that said Venus is def more about manifesting abundance and success than Jupiter. I saw a reel that ranked the most common sun signs in billionaires and the top 3 were Libra, Taurus and Pisces.... What do all these signs have in common? VENUS. Many wealthy and successful people have Venus influencing their MC/10th house but very few have Jupiter there. If you wanna manifest I'd say focus more on your Venus sign and the energies ruled by venus in your chart

Again I've said this before Jupiter is a boost in terms of expansion, opportunities and wisdom but its energy on its own does not guarantee anything. Let's remember that Jupiter is debilitated in two earth signs (virgo and Capricorn) which means Jupiter is not about materializing stuff per se, Jupiter is about giving you the wisdom, support, hope, faith and guidance you need which is crucial for manifesting yes but the rest is up to you.

For the most part, I've seen Lilith in the 1st house tend to be patronized more than anything, people tend to not respect them and wanna treat these natives like they're dumb. But I've noticed this happens bc ppl with this placement (or prominent Lilith in general) are often very intelligent and they tend to get minimized a lot bc others feel threatened by them

The most stereotypically neat-picky and perfectionist virgo placement is Virgo Venus. Libra Lilith is a very disappointing placement. I've seen slut-shaming is a huge thing with them as well as dragging the shit out of others for very superficial reasons (money, status, looks, etc). Also, they handle conflicts in a very cowardly manner and tend to make promises and commitments they later can't keep.

Both Aries Moon and Scorpio Moon have volatile emotions I've observed since they share Mars rulership, they tend to explode out of nowhere. The difference is that Aries Moon tends to get over it fast like sometimes it's even amusing to see them mad, they will put you in your place and move on. I've noticed they don't really hold grudges much cause they don't really take things too personally and when they do they attack ppl's actions no ppl themselves if that makes sense. Scorpio Moons in comparison are much more catastrophic when going about their emotions, they fr act like it's the end of the world and 9/10 times WILL make things personal. They act like it's fine once the heat dies down but they actually tend to secretly hold on to that anger and resentments for a long ass time if not forever

Aquarius Moon is the most independent moon sign, they tend to be precocious children who grow up really fast, maybe too fast. I've seen that they are forced into adult life VERY early on and they seem to stomach it like it's nothing. HOWEVER, I've noticed for a while that Earth signs are VERY prone to Narcissism. From the charts I've seen and the people I've come across in my life it's very evident. I'm an Earth sign myself and I believe it's really important to go through a healing stage at least ONCE in your life. That's just me though.
